Bahaha not the earring falling out that’s too real
It seems dance is doing all it can to develop a conscience and empathy for others and not this entitled stereotypical role of the expectation always copying how things have been done historically, void of human consideration for black dancers. Dance appears to be evolving and catering for all races in society telling little girls they are all beautiful princesses and it’s not just reserved for the always same entitled, unempathetic, unevolved thinking about themselves to the extinction of others like a parasite does. Yeah, a great watch for all. Is life truly trying to create and equal and justly fair platform for all! 😊

This trailer is done amazingly and it really does look phenomenal. Although it's not my personal style this ballet makes dancers en pointe feel so intentional. It is something I have never thought of with classical ballet, because the lines have always been so clean cut; a given. But this paves the way for the new generation and would hopefully be a beacon for more neo styles and choreographers.

I have DVD. I'm in US so haven't seen it live. It's interesting and disturbing as commentary on economic and social relations. Just as the original GISELLE does.

Kudos to Ronald Hynd for having choreographed something that looks quite decent on the dancers not trained in character dancing. Whether it can be called a mazurka is debatable.

The brown tights and point shoes clearly make the legs and feet look thinner. The paler shoes and tights have a thicker, chunkier look.

She is no doubt very beautiful and elegant. I love her grace and beauty of movement. ❤🩰 I am not sure that ballet should in any way change the standards because it is a very defined art form that has incredible history that should not be lost. There are many types of dance that can showcase a variety of styles and abilities.
