one thing u guys don't bring up in philly he has better game than joker but he doesn't play when philly goes to Denver. he hasn't played in Denver in over 5 yrs. he not scared of joker, embiid is scared of the high altitude. always no healthy when they go their. I wouldn't call him top 2 players in league because they best players like Lebron get their team out of second round by himself. Look lebron went first final against spurs. It Lebron and bunch of bench players.

Joel Inneed needed this olympic play to see his below average ways ain't cutting it. He doesn't have the mindset of someone who can get to the finals and deliver a chip. It's four years late for ppl to come around, but we still think he can do something. @@johnmitchell7654 Broken orbital bone, Bell’s palsy, hand injuries, Knee bruise, someone falling on your leg and stress fractures in your foot aren’t from conditioning. Using one issue (injuries) to make your point on another issue (not being in shape) when they’re not related is disingenuous or not being informed (not you specifically). Could the torn meniscus have been contributed to due to his weight? I assume so, but he’s also a 7ft basketball player. I would be shocked if he didn’t have knee or foot problems during his career. @@Mugga94 you make valid points. Let’s take the injuries that have cost him the equivalent of four full seasons worth of games out of it. Do you believe Joel has optimized his conditioning? Do you believe, using the eye test and knowing that his weight hovers north of 295 pounds, believe he shows up in the best shape possible at the start of the season? And if not, do you believe this is detrimental to his individual and team success?

@@johnmitchell7654 I agree he needs to get in better shape because he gets tired at the end of games and can get lazy on the boards and with turnovers. My only point is people like to push the narrative that he gets injured because he’s out of shape when that’s not usually the case. It’s where I think us Sixers fans and Sixers reporters need to correct the outside media that tries to paint this horrible picture of Embiid when a lot of it isn’t true.
