    When you spin the ball it sounds like metal on metal what keep the metal from wearing and jamming up after a few uses?

    I use. $3.99 brush with a bend in the handle. I’m too OCD for a device like this. Ultimately I would have to use my brush even if the fermenter looked clean.

    Thank you for this video. I wanted to make sure it would spray the top, and it does. Seems many out there are not doing a good job of spraying "up."

    So am I wrong in thinking I could connect this to the pick up on my pressurized unitank to transfer to my keg?

    Why do people still use the term Tri Clover. It is now Tri Clamp

    Just use a braided ss mesh from a supply line in your boil kettle and whole hops that create a nice filter bed. Clear wort in the fermenter every time!

    I disassembled the valve handle and stem too. Is there a replacement seal seat for that? In retrospect, I don't think that was intended to be disassembled. Any recommendations?

    that pump is a joke, you need at least 1/4HP pump

    What pump do you recommend for the larger CIP balls? I have the TC-3 of yours for my 20 gal conical. I bought a submersible pump 1/3 hp, but it won't take cleaners or water warmer than 77*

    Can I use this for kegging?

  • @DMCSerenity

    Alejandro González that’s my exact question. I have one of these and it works great. But would like to do a closed transfer from my Unitank to a keg and use this to filter my dry hops. I would think it would work but would like to hear from these guys.

    You could as long as you're taking sanitary measures. The biggest drawback is possible degassing of beer, but if you are carbonating in the keg, then no major loss there.

    Do people us this as a hopback in combination as a wort strainer?

  • @brewershardware3634
    @brewershardware36347 жыл бұрын

    Indeed they do. Depending on your system size, wort loss to the hopback might be a concern though. To get answers to specific questions, give us a call - 714-891-1150.
