Hey man! Thx for sharing your impressions on this cam! Also thinking of getting one in order to simplify filming some b-roll when walking around with my camera. Currently i'm using my iPhone Pro for webcam and also for b-roll purposes while walking in the city. But a dedicated action cam is tempting! I'm mostly interested in the form factor and the magnetic attachments - thinking, that the neckstrap would be great, plus mounting this small unit on a baseball-cap should also be pretty convenient!

I'm on Samsung s24 Ultra so I don't know what the experience is like on an iPhone for webcam, but I'd imagine they made it super easy to set up and have a lot of accessories for it. If the eye contact with the iPhone as webcam is good, that's definitely an advantage and you might not need insta. But big thing I like about insta360 for vlogging is how small and inconspicuous it is. I'm not as self conscious talking to that small device as I am my phone. And it's so small it doesn't even feel like I'm filming. And definitely opens up way more shooting opportunities: Hands free is really great when traveling and you have to look things up on your phone or are carrying things or buying something. You can just mount it and still film. And get new kinds of shots like in tight spaces and POV. After using it a few days I'm already hooked and glad I bought it, so I can definitely recommend.

You should go to the park in the evening for sunset. Less hot humidity

Yes! Thanks for the tip. I usually go when it's darker but I wanted to try filming a sunny video since most of my tutorials have been filmed at night and look dark. Had to share some sunny Bangkok 😅
