I live in port Macquarie
Couldn’t listen because of the stupid music 🤔
Good video. I swear by Intervolt. I've had mine for afew years. The only issue I have had is a couple of times the light has been purple. I have had to disconnect (open the circuit breaker) between. The unit and the main battery (starter). Reconnect after a minute. All OK. It remembers its settings. Good to go
Is the bottom section of the screen showing the charge going into the battery in amps or the draw of the equipment running off of the battery in amps?
Can show both battery volts and you can check the amps being drawn from aux batt
Most of that is just common sense...
Hi mate I just got one of these The way my car is set up my fridge runs off my main battery and my second battery will start the car if my main battery goes flat Do you think I should swap the batteries on the dcc when I install it or should I install as directed
Wouldn't touch a concept caravan with a barge poll , my one got rott around the window s
How much per month does it cost for your WiFi on the road?
Hi Mate I’ve just fitted a intervolt to my 2018 Dmax the same way as you have with the 50amp circuit breaker’s and my main one keeps tripping did you have the same fault ? Cheers
that’s a bummer! no I didn’t sorry, I would just back track your steps and go over the system while looking at the wiring diagram make sure everything is in the right place, wires to the right terminals ect
@@Travel.bugger hi thanks for your reply it’s all sorted now I don’t know what the issue was with them tripping but it has now stopped, I have changed out the cranking battery though but thanks for your video on what to do I couldn’t have done it with out it Cheers Martin
Telstra has the best signal out in the bush. But they are evil.. ha ha. Optus is ok near towns but not so good in remote areas. I went around the block 3 years ago. I had an Aldi simcard. a bit random but it was good enough for me. I plan to travel around europe and balkans etc this year. thinking of getting a wifi router and sims for each country. and an antenna if i need one. good luck.
Did you film the whole process mate?
I didn’t sorry mate!
Hi there! I was wondering if you were still using the Optus Modem or changed? Would love some feedback as I am considering wifi for my van now!
bahaha disposable toilet paper
I know! CUTE!
Great tips guys. You should try a drill on the stabiliser legs, rather than the impact driver. The driver can damage the gears inside the legs.
thanks for the tip!
Great vid
MAKITA 4 LIFE!
hahah!
I have just purchased this but when I connect my negative and main power cable to the dcdc my little monitor has no power so I can’t program it. And ideas ?
good stuff guys..do yourself a favour and cut a jacking legs handle off and use it like an extended socket..old fella with a broken back tip..love your setup guys
Thanks for the feedback
Great video mate. Just a few questions - Is that battery in a tray or just sat in behind the seat? If so does it move around much when off road?
it fits in snug, only thing i did was a couple pieces of foam under it to help with bumps
Well done guys. I like the way you come across plain & simple with some humor !!! Hope to see some more travel & fun vids. Keep it going with your adventures; Regards from Western Australia
Thanks mate, Hope there was some useful info in there for you! :)
Nice vid, how much was the kick ass battery and the charger all up
thanks mate, it was around $1000 for the charger, battery, and all the wiring needed for the setup!
@@Travel.bugger hey mate did you strap the battery down if so how did you do it? Also did you screw the charger to the wall ? Do the screws do thought to the outside?
@@joshelliott9222 battery fits in snug, don’t need a strap! As for the screws, just went into the plastic, works good
Mate, do NOT walk through the flood waters without proper wellies. Snakes travel in flood waters trying to escape and they are AGGRESSIVE!!!
I would of been running from That one! Thanks for the tip haha!
