The reason I love Bali is mainly because of the perfect mix of everything that you said. I can pick and choose places like crowded places, night clubs, beach resorts, quiet villa, homestays, nature and mountains, villages and home stays, yoga and meditation, temple and spiritual places and what not. No other country or even other places in Indonesia offers that range of mood based options that Bali offers. I agree that it has become crowded and polluted that is same everywhere in the world.
My son and I just came back from Japan and it was beautiful.. I wish we knew This was in Tokyo!!

Mr. Welshman, I am not familiar about Brighton being well known as LGBT Capital. Well It looks very unique to me So many art and buildings symbolized. That makes visitor interested. It is very beautiful exploration to the beach. Chalk? not lime stone? hm...fascinating. No dinosaur bones? Fossilized shark teeth? hahaah I am not suer if your GF picture this heat in the middle of nowhere..haha Keep her safe, Mr. Welshmen. and get some sun tan hahhaah. What is your GF's verdict? The water is so calm...almost scary 6:32 Don't you two snorkeling? 7:12 rock formation on each island is remarkable...wow....swim, Mr. Welshman? Welshmen are not made to swim? or kayak? hahahahah Wow, cave...the entrance is hide and tall...wow it is challenging to film under low natural light, but you nailed it. Was it cellphone footage of gopro? I love rock formations in the cave...some are so smooth... Oh, yes....this sunset from the cruise really earned good points I am pleased to hear you two find some satisfaction in this cruise ship trip. Well done! Always great work on filming and documenting.
