  The closest beach is about a ten minute walk down the street, where you can see the sardines. My channel and video is about hotel reviews, not sightseeing and beaches, therefore I don't discuss it.   Thanks for watching. The one we went to was out of the main area - with no traffic (we went later at night), it still took a solid 25 minutes by taxi, if not a bit longer. We were the only ones there since it was a regular weekday and this particular one was for locals I think. It was called Hole 19 however there were others in the area. Caveat - no one there really spoke english, but I wasn't complaining given that you had bottle service with your own personal assistant all night for $10 US.

  From what I could see from the outside, each of the cottages looked identical to one another. I don't believe there was an actual difference among each however I suggest contacting the hotel directly to ask. They are very responsive.

  Unsure - I was solo so unsure, but I didn't see them really monitoring who was coming and going. As far as checkout, I think it's standard and late checkout depending on availability.

  I have been a parrot ownerfor years. Parrots often like to be in thier cage. They feel more secure against possible predators. So dont feel bad for them.

  whats funny is this hotel is 1 of the lowest star review in all 5 star hotels in metro manila on expedia and agoda. I wonder why that is. Maybe the location have too much poverty and homeless near by

  That's VERY surprising to hear but far removed from reality. It was definitely NOT a 1 star hotel - the service, amenities, and room easily put it into the 5 star category in my opinion. The location was actually quite nice as it was in Malate and it was nor in an impoverished area. It was a deluxe room and cost about $90 US a night including resort/hotel tax etc.

  @@Travelteez what surprise me is that there is tiles in the washroom and places like it's recently renovated.. if you check it on expedia and agoda, the photos does NOT look close to that. Even other vlog rooms is nowhere as good as yours. Where did your room come from? it's totally different.. thats wild..

I love to research hotels before I book them so went down a rabbit-hole researching and found Night Hotel (formerly Dream Hotel). It was a good balance of pricing and location. While the room was a bit eccentric, I thought it was great value. I was a solo as well. I'd be happy to give you some tips on what to do during your time there.   Thanks for the good information, you sold me I just booked their last cottage for April. I'd rather stay at a cottage opposite from #1 due to the road noise from the video. It didn't seem to bother you at all... but I like my quiet in the morning time. Again thanks for the advice on this property!

  Glad it was helpful! Actually the road noise I think is going to the same regardless as all the cottages are close to one another, although no, it did not bother me as it was fairly minimal and in the evening, hardly anyone on the roads. I am thinking of going to Siquihor and noticed you did a review of a place. Did you enjoy the island?

  Hotel Chelsea Toronto Canada. El año pasado pague 2 noches por medio de Booking, y cuando entre al hotel, me cobraron un Deposito en Garantia,. (Fue Lo doble de lo que pague por 2 noches) y a los 6 meses que no me regresaban mi dinero, me decian que yo habia pagado solo una noche y con eso estaba pagandop la segunda noche. Es un robo eso!! Ponen precios super baratos en Booking, eso es un gancho para beneficio del hotel. Para el precio de 500 Dolares por 2 noches, no vale la pena ese Hotel. Eso es un robo a los clientes! Ese hotel es una basura!

  En el Hotel Chelsea Toironto, Te cobran al ingresar un "Deposito en Garantia" de tu tarjeta de credito, pero eso es un costo "Disfrasado", ya que no lo devuelven jamas, y despues dicen que son impuestos del gobierno. Cosa que nunca le informan al cliente. Como dicen en Mexico, "Se cobran a lo chino"

  I usually use Klook.com which has great deals and uses the same local operators that your hotel will hook you up with. For the tours I ended up booking through the hotel although I think I booked the city tour through Klook.
