This is NOT a good rendition. I will concede that Domingo always had a low timbre but this is a pure Baritone aria and it shows. He breaks off when low because he can’t keep the low note and he is under continuous stress to keep the timbre from shifting to tenor from whatever that is. A sad result, not bad per se but mediocre at best. The Verdi Baritones are not something you can easily get away with.

Renee is a goddess in Thais. .Love her voice, those Christian Lacroix costumes and her performance....wow. cannot believe how beautiful, slender and young she is. I always thought she had Latvian ancestors with her looks but they were Czech. And her Rusalka is amazing too sung in Czech.

Помимо того, что эта ария писалась явно не для мистера Бина, так он еще умудряется тут же облизываться, неуместные гримасы какие-то выдавать, в итоге превращая все в какой-то каверз на оригинал, не говоря на уже довольно паршивый звук
