I have screaming eagle power cam , thats plenty enough, on my sportglide, with bassani road rage 3. Rides great . 462 horsepower cam.
Are you saying you like the 2013 more then the 2020 bike? with your accent we had a hard time telling if you said 2020 or not. The reason I like your comment is that I just bought a 2014 with only 5k miles, and of course I thought it would not be as good as the new ones.
Mines louder... Rhine heart racing bigshots...
Great bike Tim!
Very nice Tim, sounds great.
Thanks mate, have to catch up for a ride soon 👍
Sounds and looks awesome!
Thanks Pinkie, goes like a proverbial 😆
Sounds bloody good Tim 👌
Thanks Adam it definitely sounds better than stock
Exactly mate. These are definitely very visible.
Good to be seen.👍
Smart looking bike with the red accent. Ride safely on it mate.
Thanks mate, I love these Street Triples 👍
Hey Tim, these regos come around fast...lol hey nice machine.
Funnily enough it was due 😂
Well done Tim, I wasn't expecting that new toy 🤘
Me neither mate - was a case of here''s the bike you wanted better grab it.
She’s coming along great 👍
I only have issues if I'm in a low gear like second gear and doing 25-35 mph. it just doesn't want to go that slow in a smooth manner. Gets a bit jerky using the S&S 475 cam. But I can live with that.
I'm after radials or short shots, and can't get my head around the 2 into 1 look of the exhausts, what are you he pros
I hope you do a video of the new camera because I totally agree my go pro is shit every problem you said I have been having
I saw the kangaroos
I think this is the best looking Speed Triple they have done to date. The 1200 has lost some if the uniqueness by dropping the pipe down by the wheel.
Agreed, my mate has the 1200 beautiful looking bike but it definitely lost the bull terrier look about it.
I agree Tim, Cruise Control is awesome.
Don't think I could go without it now.
I love a bit of french!
Ha me too 😁
Congrats Tim. Sounds like it's been a great 8,000. Enjoy the next.
Glad the bars have made a difference.
Thanks mate, amazing how much bars can change the dynamics of your bike.
I never like 90 % of non stock handlebars on Roadglides.. But those look really good !! Great pick. 👍
Thanks mate they are so much better than the stock ones. Very comfortable.
Love you brother!
Thanks mate appreciate it 👍
What tuner did you use after the cam?
Depending on where you live, Australia uses a tuner called Maximus (Key tune) then dyno tuned from there 👍
They make windshields here in the states for it. I can get you the link if you want?
looks great tim.
Thanks mate appreciate it
I must have missed alot I didn’t know you were working for Harley now. Very cool
Yes been 5 weeks now, loving it.
I like the plate and the bars. Nice upgrades I have missed a few videos but trying to catch up.
Hi Carl, how are you mate? Thankyou the bars are awesome.
Can't believe I kept calling this Klockwerks screen khrome works. Sorry Klockwerks in advance.🫢
Looking good Tim. I wondered what affect the new bars would have so it was interesting that it would react not just with your posture but also the way you corner. Must be hard to keep the smile off your face these days. Hopefully the rain this week hasn't ruined your long week-end. Have a good one and a safe one.
Thanks Jeff, definitely makes me ride a bit more aggressively. Don't like winter lol
You've got the A & the U in the wrong places I recon. Bars look good mate. "A month" goodness time fly's when you're having fun.
Ha,yes I should have got bugger very good mate 😂
what year is this speed triple? how does it have a gear indicator. i miss mine. i have a 2015 and does not have one.
Nice bike!!
Thanks Roger, appreciate it mate.
This is why I went with the HD torque cam. Might not perform as good as the S&S but it rides smoother and faster down low
Hi from Canada Can you share what kind of cruise kit you have? These long rides are killing me
They look the part Tim.
They do feel good mate. Very different to the OEM ones
I'm currently saving for a Harley, and have my xjr1300 for PT ex so hoping to have a Harley by this December, I'm swinging towards a street bob but also have in mind a fat bob (used to have a fatbob from new 14 plate sorry I got rid) so have plenty of time to make my mind up, I'll be looking at second hand as I learnt buying new I lost 2 to 3 grand soon as I left the shop.
With stage 2, I assume he can easily reach 200+ top speed. Btw how much horsepower do you get after stage 2?
I ended up with after a few tweeks 119hp and 188nm if torque at the wheel. Yes I did 200+ a few times as the top end speed restriction was turned off.
@@timfinning That is an insane performance for a cruiser. To me, a cam upgrade is a must-do thing, but I'm a fan of low-rpm rumble sound, so I usually cruise around below 3000 rpm. According to others' feedback, ss475 lost some power at lower rpm like 2000-3000. That's my only concern. So I'm struggling between ss465 and ss475.
@@yaojiang I originally wanted the 465 but at the time none were available due to covid. The 475 still had heaps of bottom end grunt. From memory I had about 120 ft-lb straight off the bat
@@timfinning I guess I need more digging. Looking forward to your new riding vids and ride safe!
Your bike now sounds like mine but I have bassani sweepers, when I watched your earlier videos after your stage one and exhaust install the bike sounded amazing like way better then mine so I feel like we both did the same thing going to stage 2 and regretting it and now can’t seem to get it back to the good stage one feels weird if that makes sense
I have the same bike same color and i have a hard time explaining why i love it so much to people you can just throw it and it goes where you want it to
Did you install the cruise control yourself? If so, was it difficult? Local dealer wants nearly $300 USD to install it (which is more than the part costs locally).
Nice one. Great hearing the different sounds from the two bikes. Also nice to see you perpetuate the wave or the nod. Do you find other riders respond back more depending on what bike your riding?
Thanks Jeff, yes two very different sounds and riding experience's. Both give me great riding Buzz's
Different bikes...different type of fun. They're both great for there own purpose I would have to say.
Definitely mate, I love both bikes and they both give me different riding sensations.
When are people going to actually grow a pair and protest the rip off system?time no one paid registration but i know i would keep the triump over any harley over-rated as f
I hear you mate, our rego system here is shit the grubberment takes a slice every time bike the changes hands. Im keeping the Speedy and my Road Glide. I cant part with the Speedy just yet.
Do you guys Dyno at the shop?
Unfortunately no, I wish we did though.
Seems like you're going to like the new job which always a good thing.
I think so too mate, already enjoying it. Have been made to feel really welcome by everyone there which helps heaps.
Hey tim 😊 Love ya new road glide! And enjoy watching your videos mate. I had a street bob the same colour as yours for about 12 months. But I've got a bad back and it just killed it! Loved the bike though. Wished I had of tried some different models. As i bloody miss my Harley
Hi Adam, sorry to hear about your back mate. I went through back issues a few years back, still do to some extent. The Road Glide is a very comfortable bike if you get back into it - definitely recommend for a bung back.
Good luck with the job/sale.
Thanks mate, I've actually now started and loving it 👍
Even though it makes perfect sense you'll be sorry to see her go. I don't know if I should congratulate you for the decision you have made or commiserate with you but either way it sounds like you've made the right choice. Someone is going to get a bike that's been loved not just owned.
Thanks mate, I'm still in two minds about it. But want to free up some coin to put on the Rd Glide, will see.
