Frau Sobchak's mannerisms made this piece utterly cringy. (so mush so that even dear Lars -even with that 14 component neurotropic coctail in his system- can hardly keep it together...). "And that is a fact"🙄

This is such an awkward interview. Not because of Lars, but the interviewer! Why is she so cringe? That beginning of the clip when she randomly asks people (Copenhagen I guess) about LvT - what is that… We get it, she is a huge fan of LvT, but the interview should not look like a fangirl interviewing her favourite filmmaker, it’s cringe to watch. Most of us watching and commenting this interview, we’re all LvT fans one way or another, but did she really mention during the interview “the greatest genius of the world” OMG … I truly hope I misheard that. 😂

Not a typical or comfortable comment here, but anyone who possesses an able body and stable mind, good health, and some financial independence should ideally consider relocating to a remote or off-grid living setup that is as self-sufficient as possible. Nothing drastic has happened recently in America or the world but where things are heading based off of the world conflicts and economic changes such as the American federal government's release of the central bank digital currency, etc., the overall political climate in America and the world is skewing towards being more globalized and controlling, and things are bound to start taking a turn toward the worse with possible economic crashes, etc. in upcoming years (in line with cataclysms obviously). This is of course a highly speculative judgment, but many are of course aware of the global shifts taking place toward a concerted corralling of human civilizations and possible depopulation involving genetic screening and an organized monitoring of who is allowed to reproduce (i.e., "the mark of the beast"); with the extensive cataloguing and mapping of the human genome that has occurred and the ability of commercial genetic testing companies to proactively predict various personality features and disease risks, etc., at an extremely affordable cost and instant availability, this process could theoretically be implemented quickly with no further biomedical or technological development. The only thing that national governments are waiting for is another major crisis to hit (far more severe than COVID19) that result in major famines, etc. that require civilians to congregate into publicly monitored areas that the government has leverage over and requires tagging or some kind of marking for in order to receive food or some other service. Of course, it is uncertain if this is exactly how events will play out, but this is one possible scenario that is readily plausible (likely within 30 or 40 years). Maybe as things continue to devolve and people become increasingly distrustful, confused, and desperate, the regulations will be implemented some other way. Overall, the way affairs are heading are highly, highly unnatural for the human species and the planet, and the best way to defuse autocratic political power is to totally disengage from being dependent on international and delocalized resources (and not merely voting for Trump, etc.); otherwise you probably will just end up living vicariously through the upheavals that are going to take place. Over the last 150 years, we've accomplished remarkable things, but need to reel in our capabilities and apply them correctly to make human civilizations sustainable in the long-term. Unfortunately, governments are not willing nor really able to exhibit total transparency and honesty needed to make such a process happen gently or smoothly, so things will likely turn really ugly. The best and only way to begin harmonizing with the will of the planet is to initiate the change yourself, since the government will certainly not do it for you and has lulled you into a degradable sense of security that is slowly being swept out from underneath everyone so that we're all desensitized to the changes that are happening. Because many of us are so comfortable, fed, and hooked up to electronics most moments of the day, it can be easy to miss the continuous and subtly progressive forfeit of individual autonomy that is being sapped from most people, even the elite politicians, businessman, etc. who are in power and exert substantial influence over the masses. The best preventative measures to this trajectory is to keep turning inward in meditation, prayer, encourage other people to turn inward, and simply disengage as much as possible from those who are unreceptive to doing so. There is still time to make the changeover but it will require sacrificing most comforts and conveniences. Maybe this comment will breakthrough to a select few before the public consciousness becomes even more stale, stagnant, resource deprived, and circumstances turn inextricable. Ultimately, anyone who would be receptive to a radical pivoting to an ascetic lifestyle and is inclined in this direction are the main targets of this comment (since this is the way the world is going seeing how psychologically static and confused many people are becoming; mental health issues are becoming an epidemic in the developed world, etc.). If you can tolerate trading current everyday conveniences and luxuries for a more difficult and menial life supplemented by meditation, reading, and simple pleasures of living in closer connection with the Earth (and you're not consciously or unconsciously aligned with the elites' agendas), I personally think it will drastically pay off in even 10 year's time in comparison to where the world is going to be headed even though it may not look like it right now (although no one will be exempt from what will happen). Unfortunately, most people are not sufficiently prepared in themselves to renounce worldly pleasures of their own volition and with an open enthusiasm, but hopefully more gravitate in this direction over time, since this will inevitably happen; life cannot become any easier than it is now since it is breeding new and unnatural kinds of sickness. Part of the remedy is to simply begin realigning with nature and learn about how one's own mind operates. Peace and blessings

The interviewer stating that Russia is the only country with free speech and that everyone loves Dostoyevsky and Tarkovsky and fails to mention how every great and subversive artist in Russia or Soviet had suffered dire consequences for their art, like exile, inprisonment, labour camps or a firing squad. Why was Tarkovsky exiled? The Exile and Death of Andrei Tarkovsky': A Priceless ... As he was bitter and disappointed with the Soviet Union's efforts to prevent his films being made and receive international recognition, as they deemed his art to possess a certain anti-Soviet sentiment, he decided at the beginning of the 1980s never to return and work in his homeland again Dostoyevsky got four years in a hard labour camp and was to be shot but spared at the last moment, Parajanov where prisoned time and again. And still ordinary people in Russia can't speak freely. Journalists or politicians falling out of windows or poisoned. A free country? Sure.

Carine Roitfeld came under my radar for being stylist of Tom Ford and Gucci but also her unique style (despite I know her work for many many years), I was looking for my spring style inspiration and these days I read alot about Tom Ford for Gucci. I'm 41 now always been a fashion girlie, fashionista buying all those magazines and fashion books but time to time I get deep about an era or collection or a stylist. I am more into glamour in 40s and shes my current style icon. But also Tom Ford and his Gucci era and his muses inspire me a lot for creating my own SS24 moodboards. Current collections of tom ford brand and gucci are also the only collections I like. I never liked anything from Alessandro Michele for Gucci recently despite gen Z or younger millenials love it. But new season and new designers came in power (Sabato De Sarno and Peter Hawkings) who are both inspired from Tom Ford. I love it this season.I am also into 70's fashion and I love 70s style despite I was never into 70's before. Loved the interview. Carine is so inspiring.
