    The NLP Master Practitioner is the course with specific modelling techniques but the Practitioner lays the foundations. Thanks for asking.

    I think this is an old wifes tale. Surely if I think "don't kill myself" will not make me kill myself. Or don't eat glass will not make me eat glass. That is, in healthy individuals. Obviously "don't think of a dog" will make me think of a dog. It is a "trick question" since using the word dog, well, will trigger circuits related to the dog. But this does not mean that "don't kick the dog" will make me kick the dog. This whole thing is an urban legend and more recent science confirms this. Yes, it may be slightly more difficult for the mind to think in negative statements than in positive ones. But for normal healthy individuals this should not be a problem. Also there are inhibition circuits that get triggered by negative statements. For instance if a punishment is anticipated. Obviously everyone is wired differently and this may have the opposite effect in more risk-seeking individuals but that in itself demonstrates the negatives are processed, but just in a different way. Let's not over-complicate things. Yes, positive statements are easier and more straightforward than negative ones. But obviously negative statements ARE processed by the brain.

    'easily and effortlessly' remove all anger .... This phrase alone suspect, especially when some anger is deep routed, and needs removing, so you are implying a quick 5 min fix is it, I am sure there is much more to this, which isn't made clear here.

    I would like to see the pre-talk that introduces newbies to the concept of talking to yourself and your unconscious mind, etc. Just jumping into it might otherwise create resistance.

    NLP is not "all about" getting exactly what you want. 🙄 the "sellers" of NLP are why it has such a bad reputation though its so very useful in every possible avenue of expression

    "Imagine a relaxation force coming from your eyes and flowing out all over your body.." So, the force is coming out of my eyes, but then goes backwards to flow all over my body? Anthony, is that what you mean? Does the force pervade my entire body, from head to toe, so that it disperses in all directions, after coming out of my eyes? Nah, this is baloney. I'm going to try a different self-hypnosis video.

    Thanks a lot. I am from Bharat (India). After a severe side effect of an allopathic medicine in 2014, I was not able to bear weather of even 38-39 deg C. And in peak summer, temperature goes even up to 44-45 in my area. Unknowingly, I applied same mental image change technique as above. And adjusted my bearing atleast up to 42 deg C. I found that in summer my mind feel myself in desert and 2 big fire balls near my head. I asked my mind to shift this pattern gradually. First, it converted desert into a green area then developed a water fall at some distance. Then it pushed these fire balls distant away from me, atleast 200 meters away from me. It solved my that problem. Thanks a lot, I was struggling with a belief of being very unlucky for 3 decades. Now just now shifted it plus 10 very lucky. Do, I need to practise daily. So that this changed belief gets permanent in my mind. Kindly advise. God bless you.

    Oh great Currently I have habit of playing chess for hours per day. I became addicted to it. I am.playing 6 to 8 hours . This is sheer waste of time . I want to get rid of this. If I get 6 hours per day and utilize in my career I would reach to very high position . Can you suggest me a mental model to break this habit..thanks a lot

  • @om23005
    @om2300510 ай бұрын

    @@satish1012 1) first sit/lie down on bed and relax yourself by little deep breathing. 2) Now ask inner your mind to show you current scene of your addiction problem of playing 6-8 hours chess. It may be image/video and/or with some sensation of audio/smell/touch etc. 3) And then ask it give a rating of severity of this problem on scale of 1 to 10. 1 means very little problem and 10 is extremely bad situation. 4) say your assessment is 8 out of 10. Now ask your mind to make new scene of say 5 out of 10. You may get some new scene with improvement in situation, this will calm you a little. Thank your inner mind for this co-operation. 5) Now again ask it to make scenario for rating 3 out of 10. And then again thank it. 6) Now ask it for zero rating, means addiction went away completely. Again thank inner mind. Now scenario you got it will be very happy situation. Practice to visualise it daily after u wake up and before sleeping every day. 6) Also work on improving your self love, self worth feeling. Because mostly we get into addictions due to lack of self love, self worth etc. God bless u.
