Thanks, this is really helpful! I've owned my horse for two years but we're moving barns at the end of the month and I was super nervous to make the decision. He'll be getting 24/7 turnout with a run-in stall and a quieter place so I'm hopeful he settles in well!

Daisy is slightly pigeon toed, over the knee and has PSSM…..but she does great and I try my best to do what she needs to prevent injury.

Yes. I use whoa all the time with my horses. Keep in mind though, whoa means stop and stop only. Some people use it when they want a horse just to slow down and that takes away the meaning of it when you really need it.

@@ktsnaturalperformancehorse5156 yes agree We use "steady" stretched out a little, then stand all the way through. They're so funny their first rides, they'll be trotting or cantering and they'll o e to a complete halt.
