Although I like him, he ruined the solo, yes he did, one of the things that makes Jerry Cantrell one of the best guitar players and most influential is his ability to create solos and riffs that use the specific necessary amount of notes, without overusing or just to create stuff to show of his technical skills, Them bones is a perfect example of a solo that has the exact feeling it must have for the song, so trowing a bunch of unecessary notes ruins this solo. I really like Mammoth, but Jerry's solo original is better
