I have been passionate about animals all my life and especially about reptiles. I’ve been keeping reptiles and snakes in particular for almost a decade and want to share my love and passion about animal education to help inform people about reptiles and to understand and respect them.

He needs more sand
I have a Colorado river toad. It would be cool to try and breed them so they are more available to people and then they wont be taken from the wild as much
Can you Cohab CCG? I’ve been doing TONS of research but can’t find anything on it!
Commenting for the algorithm 😂
Underrated content. Exactly why I believe searching the truth about something than just assuming. Not enough people desire the truth.
JZ ,,,, what has been up ,,,,
Loving the enclosures bro!
😮💨🔥 good stuff brother
We got blue racers in southeastern Ohio.
The enclosures are looking fantastic! Those Dubia enclosures are pretty easy to attach together and I feel tons better about being able to do that for my larger snakes. Keep up the great work!
Love to see them getting upgraded from tub to enclosure. Fantastic work! 💚
Wonderful stuff bro. Where do you get your substrate from?
@@zennozangetsu1164 depends on the substrate. For the coconut husk either a reptile show from my associate at Repti chip or my buddy who orders a pallet at a time for his store
@@JzsReptiles OH snapp. Thanks for the info!
Ok so as far size i can compare them to afew species. Brazilian rainbow boa, emerald basin tree boa, pearl island boas, hog island boas and nicaragian boas which all them species mostly reach 6,7 feet . And if where using prey items has to be as thick as snake indigos are more than capable of eating XL or jumbo rats just as well as the other snakes mention . Cus if u feed multiple prey lets say to 7,8 ft indigo thats easy bout 3 small rats on the largest end or 2 large mediums not even 1 jumbo will suit a 7,8 ft indigo i dont think and Jumbo's are same size as guinea pigs so yes indigos eat fully grown adults and baby to young rabbits, chinchillas or seem good food source correct uf right idk . But i had California kings too before which get 6 ft but slim but even they eat medium rat so i never had indigo but they much larger so i know for fact it will manage a jumbo rat from without any harm snake be pefect good to go 14 days . Plus to alot people multiple is frustrating headache too much work plus way more expensive.
Let me know when you find one for 200 or less lol. I have 3 that I've bought over the last 4 years and not a single option was ever under 3 lol
That made no sense
What a solid video man well done
You did well!
Beautiful snake!😊
This video is very helpful, the only thing I’m worried about is when I get my new baby ball python I don’t wanna stress it out.
Bout how much can these snakes weight if you were to have a big girl get 10 ft plus coastal carpets cus I hear them ones getting largest . How will you say they stack up vs dumerils boas and blood pythons ? I often see vids of carpets eating really big prey adult chicken's, turkeys, ducks, goose, possums, raccoons, skunks, and from what I see they eat anything lizards, birds don't matter maybe even can try fish even doe cus never did see it but I'm sure captivity they will if giving .
Are these venomous at all? If so, are they highly venomous and dangerous?
No
HATCHLING Oenpelli pythons are sometimes up to 40 INCHES LONG. 😅 They're so dope. And i know Ryan Young is breeding Timors, or lesser Sundas pythons. He has some available now actually. I know because I just purchased a USCBB Tanahmerah scrub from him! 😊
His company is Molecular Reptile
Pythons has been in Puerto Rico for many years now.
Big mistake to have it around your neck. Great video though 👍🏻
Would button quail eggs, earthworms, or minnows ever be used? Ever been tried? Minnows and nightcrawlers were taken by my garter snakes with gusto
Quail and eggs probably.
What’s the friendliest and smallest milk snake for a first time snake owner?
While not necessarily the smallest a Pueblan or Nelson’s would be my suggestion
I like the Nelson’s. They are pretty
Who do you recommend to buy cages from?
Jungle cages
Muy bien explicado
Such a cool little dude!
We've noticed the editing progress - this stuff ain't easy! Keep up the great work!
i have a california toad :)
Hypno toad doth rule.
Why specify it being males that get up to 10’ it is too the best of my knowledge that yellow tails are not sexually dimorphic with males and females reaching similar sizes.
The longest verified specimens are males and what 3 breeders have told me males tend to be longer and sometimes heftier. Certainly not as dimorphic as many python and boa species for sure
Timor pythons aren’t found on Timor island. They’re found on lesser sundas island and that’s the only island they’re found on
Correct. I missed that. Editing yourself can be a pain because you said it and your brain thinks it’s right. You’re not the first that caught that
I just bought a male and female burm if i am watching them and i have the house set to 85 ambient are they okay to free roam a bit
I started with an ackie monitor and then made the jump to 4 mangrove monitors. Its crazy the difference in behavior. I used to think my ackie never wanted to be handled until I got my mangroves. I hardly see them they are such a shy species
What makes a better pet peachthroat or mangrove?
I’m not knowledgeable enough to make a subjective call like that as I keep almost entirely snakes. It mostly comes down to want you want as far as general behavior and interactions
I got inspired to try this for one of my snakes. 🤔🙂 What is that plastic part at the bottom?
It’s literally one side is plastic but I put a dog kennel tray in there to better hold substrate and longevity
Hey man, I’m a new viewer and I’m wanting to possibly get either a ribbon snake or maybe a garter snake, I have just fell in love with the look of them and I’ve never really heard anything bad from them. Would you recommend me possibly getting one? If so where?
Garters are pretty awesome and have fallen out of fashion lately but they’re still around and morph market
This is an amazing idea! Definitely worth a try!
I've been going to beasties for a while and it was awesome to find out you have these videos. Man keep up the good work. Really enjoy them and also your cookies are amazing
He will love that! My bredli literally shed perfectly in 20% humidity and then get in their humid hides after they shed. Their natural habitat is harsh and semi-arid. These tents are meant to cover plants outside and still let sunlight through so you can hang lights above it. Mine have never escaped.

I love them so much😩 could snakes live with cats?
In a secure cage, sure.
Interesting set up for a Bredli. He will have plenty of room to groove. I personally love cat trees and bed trays for snakes! I’m wondering if you could include a small cat tree in there? One major drawback with a mesh set up is losing wall space, but I’m looking forward to an update on this to see what else you added or took away! 👍🏼
Probably could. The only thing I don’t like about cat trees is I hate to clean carpet when they go on it and it would be cheaper just to build a stand if I were to strip it off. A big reason why I decided to imitate this approach was A. A much more knowledgeable Bredli keeper in similar conditions has kept them at least for awhile this way and B. Neither of mine do much cruising in the 4 foot setups they had/have so I thought additional platforms and perches would likely be better suited for them, but we’ll see
@@JzsReptilesGot it! Looking forward for an update on the setup.
We had a desert kingsnake on our deck last night laying on top of the railing. They obviously are great climbers. Very docile.
Nice idea. I might use it to create an enrichment area for snakes to play outside their crates. I'd worry that python could pull the cinder block over on himself.
That's hilarious that you still got a clutch out of the pairing since both were miss-sexed. It all works out in the end!
Me and the family just tried your cookies. They were amazing 👏 🤩
James still shooting blanks?
That and lily munched his head so he’s taking this year apart
@JzsReptiles lol, that's crazy. I could only imagine what led up to that "argument". Lilly: 😒 I'm not getting any younger James! When are you going to come through? James: 🙄 well Lilly, the vet said that you need to watch your stress levels... it effects the eggs Lilly: 😒 OR perhaps it's YOUR snake James! James: 🤨 OR if it weren't for the fact that your hemiclitores weren't spacious to begin with LILLY! Lilly: da 🤬🤬🤬?! (CRUNCH!) yeah James! How bout that one?! If your snake head was fractionally as big as your snake head, YOU wouldn't have this problem!
