  I don't know if you'll see this comment as it's being written three years after you did the reaction. I'll keep it brief. I love your reactions. Thoughtful, intelligent, well delivered without artifice and hyperbole. Your generosity in letting us view this on your Patreon are particularly appreciated. I can't imagine why you don't have more subs as what you're presenting has such innate quality and is -to me at least-a far superior reaction than so many of the superficial, click baited offerings of so many others.   I'm sure that these girls (when they were girls) grew up knowing they were lovelier/more talented at music and dance than other girls, and how that might make a youngster dream of being famous someday, but it boggles my mind that these 8, 9, 10-year-olds can muster the focus and discipline to fulfill their aspiration to be performers. The enormous workload needed to get the choreo, the singing, being in front of huge crowds (eventually). I'm glad Japanese celebrity culture does more to protect the private lives of their stars, but may I be granted one wish: please, is Yui really happy and healthy now?

  It feels so good to see your joy at first encountering this production. Another plus is your intelligence. You're good at this. And you're now the seventh reactor that I've seen cry to this music. You're right, the purity of this production's love for the music, the quality of their live performances, and especially their apparent love for their fans (who they call The One) all adds up to a marvelous thing.

  I don't know if someone else has answered this but that type of guitar doesn't need to be miked. It has a pickup inside of it and can be plugged in. If you look closely you can see as Moa is running her hand along the top of it that there's a place for volume and tone controls

  I remember the first time I heard it (with CC on) and being a hetero CIS male and knowing a bit about the conservative Korean culture... my jaw hit the floor. The only phrase I could think of is : "heck yes, you go girl!" It's a masterclass in how to make a representative song and MV. And on top of it, it's a song you can have on in the background when cudding up to your significant other (no matter genders) because of the entire vibe of the song., soft smooth sensual loving.

  I truly think the song captures not only the sapphic vibes, but the universal yearning of when you earnestly just want to connect intimately and ugh. 1.5 years later and this song still hits just as much when it first came out. This song may not have gotten the mainstream love it deserves, but it will have a long lasting impact and appreciation for years and years to come.

  I discovered Atarashii Gakko a month ago. I'm 52 and I've been a musician my entire life. I grew up on the foundational bands like CCR, Moody Blues, Beatles, Stones, The Who, etc etc who became famous through their talent. Modern music's emphasis on appealing to the lowest common denominator gets me cranky. AG is the first group I have truly loved in a long, long time. They are talented, creative, and it is a joy watching them have so much fun doing their thing.

  I noticed there are a couple of frames where they write on a blackboard (at 2:38 in your video) which got me curious as to what they were writing. I see きつねだお (kitsunedao), which they also happen to say in "iine" right before the heavy breakdown begins and I believe it translates to "it's a fox". I can also see べびーめたる (bebimetaru), which is how they say BABYMETAL,

  I love Uki Uki Midnight and I spotted something new this time, Su with pigtails at 1:26! The song flows well and has several interesting elements, but for some reason it's not getting as much attention as Gimme Chocolate and Doki Doki Morning. I love them all and don't want to pick favorites, but perhaps I put it a notch above the other two. I just saw KuroKiitsuneSama has a compilation of Uki Uki Midnight performances from as late as 2015. I had no idea they played it that many times and wow does it sound good with live vocals from Moa and Yui. I'm on a journey through your BABYMETAL playlist along with your Sakura Gakuin reactions.   i don't have the deep knowledge some people have about the band, but even i can see the differences in styles. While Su sang perfectly and seems to have perfect timing for every line. It's the fact that Moa extended that last RU, the way she shows how overwhelmed she was and that last longer ヘドバンギャー　really makes a different impression in the viewer. What a great stage show from the band
