  It’s a CPKC painted ET44AC, CPKC bought a few from Baffinland. You can tell by the handrail colors.

  Unit is in CPKC paint, front handrails red, back handrails black, just how 9375 and 4805 is.

  @@t1psyy66 No, Its gotta be a legit CPKC, painted just like how the other 2 are. It'll be the same scheme as 4805 and 9375 but on a ET44. Now if it isn't i'd be heavily suprised. LOL

  Those F59PHI diesel engines were from Amtrak’s Pacific Surfliner and that horn is for metra’s F40PH’s.

  I was wondering when these locomotives would start getting the P5 treatment. This, along with 83 might be the first time I've ever heard any of these F59PH/PHI locomotives to have something other than a Nathan K5 mounted on top of these locomotives.

  Back in my early days @ FP, RG, & EP, nobody took any notice ( or pictures ) of a STEAM locomotive as that was the ONLY type there was to see. An early diesel might have brought the cameras out, but not just another steamer. This must have been #2816 on the early spring southbound trip this year, before the excursion to Mexico. Altho I think that #2816 may be making a northbound trip sometime here soon, to get back to Canada... Good to see you back on the scene again here. Pete C., in NH

  Very cool indeed, but these are nowhere as effective as the traditional mechanical gyras. Would have been better if whoever makes these LED "signal lights" actually emulate the pulsing/flashing of the old school ones. The times I've visited Chicago and seen Metra equipment with real oscilating Gyralights really drove home how effective they really are. Once when I was at West Chicago, I saw a Metra F40 coming at me and that Gyralight beam swung around and caught me right in the eyes. Man those things are bright! That really made it clear to me why the mechanical gyras are so effective. As I said, if they could make these new LED ones replicate that effect, they'd be onto something, but the weak pulsing pattern they do just does not catch one's attention. That being said, they're still cool and add a bit of animation to the front of the SD70MACHs. Just my opinion though.

  i agree these gyralight's suck, and the gyralight itself doesn't seem to be moving, i thought it was the L.E.D. fault but maybe there's more to the problem.
