  I believe I have the exact same bass but I'd like to learn more about it. How do you know it's an ash body? Also, my pickups say "BASS LINES" and the bridge is a Gotoh. Color, matching headstock, rosewood fretboard, etc. all appear identical. I'm curious where to learn more. Thanks!

  I bought a new one of these way back in the early 1970's. It was cherry red in colour. It is the worst bass that I have ever had. On the strap, it was so head-heavy. My left hand had to constantly hold the neck up. It was just not playable. I sold it, and I bought a used Fender Jazz. What an improvement that was.

  Sounds like you had a long scale one, there. They are notorious for neck dive. Great sound, though.

  I have one from c 1993 and its just so rock solid. Its never needed a single adjustment in the seven years I've had it. Love keeping it in the middle position, playing the bridge pickup on full with the neck at half. Its also super worn, looks used enough to be an original 72!

  I’ve had one of these for about 3 years now. You need to add some distortion and listen to those Maxon pickups ROAR!!! The most fun guitar I’ve ever played in my life, it’s definitely a keeper 🤘🔥
