  Can the human ear tell which sound hits the ear first or at the same time? The human ear can't hear past 20hz-20 khz. Why exceed this range?

  Looks like a different mouse trap! BTW the 380 DSD DAC also had a volume control (variable) so not sure what Pete the Greek is saying there about this being the first of its kind dac to have volume control

  I am of the impression that one of the unsung benefits of going with one of these AE floorstanders -- perhaps this one; perhaps the 109mkii -- is that they pair well with affordable class-D amplification such as SMSL or Topping. I've heard it said that for a few hundred dollars more you can slay these in their tracks, but most of the candidates that get mentioned would also require much more expensive partnering equipment, it seems to me. Thoughts?

  Sadly, Moon has made some horrible decisions with their new North collection. Listen if you’re able. The 761 amplifier is not as good as the outgoing 760A amplifier. It has some EQ emphasis that makes it lively but also annoying, depending on the tracks. And putting a mobile phone screen on a preamp that sits roughly 20 feet away from the listener while the competition deploys mobile apps? Who was the brain trust behind that design? LOL They won’t recover from these mistakes. They’ll be bought or go bankrupt in 5 years. The competition is just too good right now for them to gain any market share with their poor designs.

  The most accurate way to calibrate the counterweight is to use a stylus tracking force scale. You adjust and calibrate the counterweight according to the tracking force of your stylus.

  Horrible preamp design. Which genius thought a mobile phone screen 20 feet away on a preamp was a good idea? Building a mobile application would have made manufacturing cheaper and provided a more modern, better user experience. Is all engineering designed by the same genius? LMAO

  I own the RS250 and I am actually very disappointed. While the audio is fantastic in my opinion, the software is terrible, and they seem to be unable to fix the numerous bugs. Worst is that it cannot play video files from its own ssd drive without the video stuttering and freezing, which of course ruins all experience. KZread works ok, but I prefer to play my own video music collections.

  I replaced my C658 with the Master 66 and I’m so happy with this amazing product. It took my system from Audiophile grade to studio grade. I’m so happy with my purchase. The only downfall is the Optical input is Meh sounding compared with the C 658. But every other input circuit is levels above and floors me every time I turn it on. My favorite circuit is the HDMI , because spending money on upgraded cables really makes this unit shine. 😊

  I bought a pair of these in December 2021. I have them in my acousticly treated listening room and Love them. Hard to find for me at the time. I am a usa citizen, but have been living in Mexico for many years. Finally bought from a shop in Italy and shiiped to Mexico. My question : With only one thousand pairs being manufactured, O(I have #71 out of 1000), how can so many retailers still have them fo sale ?. Or am I an idiot for believing that it is a limited edition ?

  I still prefer to have at least a semi-automatic TT. I'm currently using a fully restored Pioneer PL-630 (fully automatic) and it puts a smile on my face every time I spin a record on it.

  Hmm, could be nice in a way if set up properly , have a well tuned and placed speaker setup. On the other hand your better off setting that system up on a electronic merry go round platform drad center in the middle of the room. I rather have a Mcintosh AV receiver or 2 channel 200 watt receiver and spend the 4 to 5 grand for their build quality and sound , then pay for this rediculous monster for 2 grand or whatever its costs . The cabling alone in back would annoy me , i would have to hire someone with small enough fingers to plug in everything .
