It is ALWAYS better to take the time to set up the loop right in the beginning. Better then realizing partway through the song you fucked up the whole thing and have to start over

Why only 1 mic this gig? You usually always run 1 mic direct into the house for vocals and one into the looper. Are you worried about vocal mic bleeding over into your loops with background noise?
Sounds very muddy and muffled. Still like you've got distortion on an acoustic guitar.
What about the current firmware is not satisfactory? You've really inspired me to start looping so going to pull the trigger in the next few days on a board
the firmware itself is decent, its just a workflow and options issue for me. Among other things, mostly that you cant assign FX on inputs, there is no global singular start/stop all switch, and mute mode doesn't suit my workflow. They're the main things which Ive personally requested and Im keeping my fingers crossed they come through in an update asap so I can start using it!
Carl, saw you in this past Jan in Spring Hill at a private party. You rock, man! Maybe you already did a video on this that I didn't see, but do you prefer the X over the Looperboard?
Hey mate, long story short but to answer your question from my personal preference, currently the Headrush suits my needs and flow better. HOWEVER the headrest is discontinued, and immediately needs footswitch upgrades from the beginning. Whereas the Sheeran X is much sturdier switches and UI, but the workflow doesn't suit me with mute mode, track FX assigns vs input FX and another few small things. All of these COULD (and hopefully would) be fixed in a firmware update, so Im just holding out and hoping they are, so I can begin using the Looper X

how did u got 4 out's in you DI when there's only one main out from RC 300 did u use the sub-output slots? actually main issue I face with RC 300 is I can get 3 dedicated outs for TRACK 123 but for the third track my main guitar input and 3rd track has to be mixed same as I get it out from MAIN only option... if u have any routing videos available for the same then please suggest me.

but u use headrush looper ...how much is it different from that?? was planning to buy headrush but what advantages this sheeran looper has over it?
Headrush is discontinued, Sheeran X as MUCH better footswitches. One the new firmware comes out Ill most likely upgrade:)
@@carlwockner actually it's still available in my country for a less price compared to sheeran looper.....should I go for it? or sav penny for sheeran looper if it has something really massive than headrush one. also what in ear do u use? currently i'm working on RC 300 it's not great with the audio quality but gets the job done for now.
@@uTuber561 totally up to you mate. Both are fantastic loopers. I prefer the workflow of the Headrush, but since they are discontinued there are no future updates. The Sheeran X is a great board, but I cant use it with my flow properly until a future update comes out. Tough call. I use Alclair audio IEMS with a Shure PSM 300 wireless setup
