I was at that game in Preston on that unforgettable afternoon absolutely bloody brilliant memories i still recall vividly RIP to Leighton James and other members of that outstanding Swansea City side sadly no longer with us a massive thank you for all those unforgettable memories you have left us and which I still recall fondly THANK YOU !

Yes I was one of the 10,000 Swansea Jacks who made the long trip up to Deepdale… What a great result to achieve promotion to the old Division 1 …and will never be forgotten. RIP Leighton James 🦢

Typical Swansea at that time as I remember I remember them g go finishing of the beautiful China shop in Oxford Rd Jenkins & Co lovely old lady who owned that shop was frightened out of her wits and had no choice to close a shop that had operated nearly 100 years, this was the second time in a week because in midweek Millwall had done the same
