I see you Big Diel let's go 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Thanks brother!!
Tight lines!
What skeeter model do you have? Do you like it?
It’s a WX2060F. So far I like it - review and set up video coming soon!
Maybe I'll tag along next time and put on a lesson like I did in Buffalo. HAHAHAHAHAHA......Good stuff bro
You’re welcome anytime! Keep you posted.
great video!!! love the recs and the recaps!! keep it up!
Thank you for the feedback !
Question for you.. I see you didn’t run your kicker?.. Was there a reason? I know during colder temperatures in winter for water a lot of guys just keep the main motor running so it doesn’t freeze up the impeller. I never really fished out in the ol girl during winter but just curious?
I wasn’t running the kicker just due to current - I was hitting speed with my main motor. The main is a bit quieter on camera. Normally I use the kicker when walleye fishing, salmon I like to keep speed up.
Awesome video.
Thank you!
What power trolling motor did you go with 24v or 36v? And how long to you get out of the autopilot if you use the kicker for forward propulsion?
I went with a 24v because that’s what came off my last boat. Using it to steer for walleye and speeds around the 2.0 mark, I can normally get a full day out of it under normally conditions. It the wind is really cranking or I need more speed you can run them down in 5-6 hours ...if I had to do over again I would have went 72” - 36v right from the jump ... I had a 60” - 24v and went to the 72”/24v prop never comes out now even in rough chop. Thanks for watching!
I have exact same setup. Just wondering about the mats you have. I have been looking for something all year. I like the looks of yours. Damn floor gets slippery.
I bought a horse barn mat from tractor supply and cut to fit in the back - it definitely improves traction, it can get slippery when to many Larry’s hit the deck - but it’s way better then the vinyl floor and cleans up just as easy -plus it’s heavy enough it won’t blow out at highway speeds
@@reeldielfishing1221 thank you. I will try that.
Is your name Bobby
Nope - Mike
That boat is sweet!
Thank you! It’s my dream boat
Can you tell what bait do you use? thanks
We were using all spoons, blacks were working best. Mag or smaller size didn’t matter. I will add baits in future videos. If you watch my other Lake Trout video we show one of our best spoons.
@@reeldielfishing1221 Thank you ! :)
Do you think a deep dive lure would work
Yes I know guys were pulling big lip Bay Rats. Greens and yellow were doing well.
Isn't that illegal to troll with 3 rods, with only 1 person in the boat?
Not in NY
Relax Karen, hes fine
In Ontario it is unless your ice fishing
I use a siwash hook for releases it doesn’t damage the fish as much. The trebles rip them apart if you put a small swivel on the hook you will get good hookups
They dump sewage in that lake but man are they some nice looking fish
lmao thats so good
Lol
So jealous, over here on the Ontario side of the river all marinas and ramps are locked down.I have our Lund all ready to go but no access to the lake.
I know that sucks!! We have a big trip to bobcaygeon this year, my kids are going to be bummed if we can’t go!!!
Which boat ramp did you launch your boat on?
Wilson Tuscarura park
Beauty lakers! Well done.
Thank you!!
One of these days I have to get out there with you boys...
damn it a lot of fish
