It is free to subscribe, and by also ringing the notification bell you will get updates on all new content and can show your support free of charge just by watching! Awesome video seems to be 2 great guys
Thank you!
Do you have a video on building ear butts and installing ear liners. I'm so frustrated. My ear butts are continually too light.

You did a great job my friend! Thank you for sharing!
This is a great video! Thank you so much!
No problem! Thank you
Love it man you keep grinding sir. I'm gearing up for Hunting season Antelope starts next month here in South Dakota I'm hoping to be super busy again this year
Absolutely! Good luck!
@@thecedarridgechronicles you as well
That's exactly right the way I do it what makes it better for me is I krowtan everything then when I get it all done I lay down clean it up to my flashing stretch out what I got there and then I measure my form put it back in the freezer and wake them up warm gets here I never had a problem that's just the way I do it I don't do a lot of deer heads so mostly for my friends and me
All starts with a Good student
Hey have you seen this method where they prep the form and then torch it lightly or burn it a lil ? Guess it adds detail .
I never have. It may be to remove the slick film left behind after casting the manikins to help glue adhesion
@@thecedarridgechronicles right ✅️ that's what I was thinking 🤔
Slabs all day
on sale for $99.99 right now.
Nice!
Keep it up man
So your shaving from head to tail?
Only on a pack mount

You might be able to send a message on Facebook since my page is public. Not sure how that works lol

Thank you sir.
I’m coming on a tripe with yall to Vince on the 2nd
north georgia is where i go bear hunting and i seen mulitple bears every year, i have only seen 1 deer in all my hunts. the bioligist up there says the bears kill the fawns like crazy. i believe it.
Thanks Daniel for the tip! I'm sure you know the old timers never like to share info back in the old days. It sure is good to see you putting out great content and helpful information for young and old alike. No matter what the skill level. Thanks again for sharing! Doug HZA
Thank you! Some of the older taxis are still pretty stingy, but in the age of the internet there are no more secrets! This day in time it’s more a matter of who is willing to actually try anything themselves rather than pay it done.
Good Travis song
Great work and good song!
Awesome video! Felt like I was there with you guys!
Thank you! I told Pablo this would actually be a better tutorial than the videos of how to mount deer lol
@@thecedarridgechronicles definitely felt more engaging.
Can't even buy rain here
It was dry here about 2 months now it’s rained about every day for a month
Thank you for sharing, I’d always wanted to know the method taxidermist use for closing up hides.
I'm doing my first pack mount right now. Customer wants the mount to have the hide rolled up with the tail hanging out, so I have the whole thing here tanned, in house with pro 1 products. How would you roll it up so that the tail hangs out without detaching the head section from the cape? Looks like here that you have it all as one cape. Secondly, is it necessary to use the whole cape? My plans are to let it start drying after mounting the head and leave it spread out for a day or two before rolling up. Any advice here?
really just debating on hacking off the cape as if it were a shoulder mount and roll it up. without cutting the head from the rest Im not sure how you'd do it. and then what do you do with the open neck?
I do cut the head off and leave about a foot of cape or so to tuck behind the roll. Also, I like to use the whole cape because it makes a nice large roll but make sure as it dries to stretch and break it so it can be rolled once it is dry
@@thecedarridgechronicles ok awesome. so you literally cut the head off like a foot below where the form stops? do you roll it into the hide or just tuck it behind the rolled cape?
and do you sew up the neck hole then or not?
@dereksunday3883 I card it so it stiffens up flat then I put the cape roll on top of it and tie it all together
Pablo!! Muy bueno! You spent to much time worried about the back nobody would see!! lol! You should’ve focused on the details with Dan the man.
AGH!!! It’s so frustrating to watch!! But so entertaining at the same time.
😂 I wanted to just grab it and do it myself so bad lol
Teach a man to fish and feed him for life, give a man a fish feed him for a day! #nomoregovhandouts
I’d be the second! I’m in Bham. Love this channel! I did my first full turkey mount for myself a few months ago. I had sooo much fun! I have a lot to work on but learning.
You’re are one of the only to help others. Thank you so much
You’re welcome. Thanks for the support!
Whats your favorite mount
A Mears Whitetail Forms semi upright offset is my personal favorite pose. The semi sneak is a close second
Love your videos, I’m just now getting into taxidermy, your videos have been very helpful and informative!

This is awesome to hear! Thank you and congratulations. Hope everything continues to go well!
Just remember days like that when you are having a bad day at the shop. I have a delivery business and rainy days and traffic are my nemesis! You are blessed to work from home!..👌👍
Good tune if you don’t like Clint Black you can get the hell outa America
Heck yeah man! October is too far away
It’s really is! And at the same time, when it gets here I still won’t be ready 😂
@@thecedarridgechronicles haha. By the way I listened to your episode about old school hunting on that podcast and man I have used a lot of the things you said a lot here in east Texas. That old man was teaching… his tactics work!
@landonhays1458 absolutely!
What was the captains name
Zach Joseph. At the end of the part 2 video I introduced him and the deck hand.
Fishing like that compared to bass and bluegill will wear you out. I caught a nice bull shark couple years ago and i wasn't use to fish that strong. My whole body was worn out fighting that thing.
Thats awesome my friend! Will be good eating! Thank you for sharing!
Great work! You sell T shirts?
Thank you! I do. If you’ll go to my channel home page, there is a button that says “store”
Bucks making loops / circles ,is that a daily or seasonal behavior or how does that work and how do u actually try to set up to hunt a buck on the loop ? I've found that the bucks here in central north Carolina will make loops / circle , travel from one farm to the other and travel in circle until they get back to where they started from but this sometimes takes a day , night, days , weeks so I'm not sure how to actually know when or where to be and how to capitalize off this behavior... I don't use cameras !
Specifically rut movement and it could be days before making the loop. A month ago I did a podcast with The Southern Outdoorsman Podcast. On KZread the episode is 1 hour 45 minutes and is called “This will change the way you hunt deer”. This is specifically what I am talking about if you want to give it a listen. They made several shorter videos with that episode around the same time about rut loops, but you’ll want to hear the uncut version to hear the whole process. I think you’ll enjoy it and hopefully benefit from it.
What size (lb/kg) are y’all using?
60#
What a great video. Pablo is an awesome dude and that is a great deer, congrats!
This is the best taxidermy teaching channel on KZread! Thank you for making these videos.
I appreciate the kind words. Thank you!
what is the best mounting stand that holds just one deer?
I use the floor stand McKenzie taxidermy supply sells and I like it but I’ve never tried any other to compare it to
Those are huge bluegills
👍
Strong fish
Cool
