Your campsite on Lake Superior was so pretty! I loved that! Marquette is such a stunningly beautiful place. Isn't the Mackinac Bridge cool? We love Torch Lake! We will be in Traverse City next month. Traverse City isn't my favorite, but my husband has a conference for work there. We love going to Elk Rapids and Charlevoix while we're there. Charlevoix is our family's favorite place in Michigan. I didn't even know Indiana had sand dunes. Sleeping Bear Dunes in Michigan is beautiful too. I'm so glad you guys had a great trip and made the most of it, even if it was rainy!

My husband (boyfriend at the time) was stationed at Cherry Point and we were still long distance at the time, so I found so much comfort watching videos filmed in the area! Fun fact, Oceanana Pier is where we were when we realized that we loved each other and so we had our wedding on the beach right next to the pier 🥺🥰❤️

My now husband was in the Marines stationed in North Carolina at the time and we did long distance for his entire 4 years in the military and got married shortly after he got out. I honestly cannot even remember how I found your channel, but it has been so fun to watch over the years. From you sending care packages to Al when he was deployed, watching different makeup and clothing content you've done, seeing your wedding, seeing you guys move to different places and then get your first house...it's been a fun ride. Even though I don't know you, I've been excited for you each step of the way. I don't care about views on my videos either. I just love having a channel and meeting new people, and having the videos to look back at for memories as well. I honestly never watch shorts on YT, and I never do them either. I just love long form content. It's so much more personal to me, and that's what I enjoy. I do understand the issue of time though, for sure. Yes, definitely never do anything that isn't truly you and that you truly enjoy. I completely understand where you are coming from, and look forward to the videos you do decide to share!

So late too the party, and you will likely not see my post, but love your place. I was raised at Cherry Point, they've torn down most of the housing that was then when we were, we left in the 90s, but we lived on vance rd, way back in the back. They weren't anywhere as nice as what you have, but they were home. I hope you and your husband are as happy as my family was,we were there for almost 10 years.

Studies show that a lot of our indoor air contains more VOC’s than most outdoor air! This is mainly because of cleaning products and all artificial fragrance (candles, air fresheners, etc). Fragrance in the United States is VERY unregulated. If you really want to use candles still, soy and beeswax candles are better!

I'm hoping people are respectful! While we were there, a few different groups came up to take photos outside of the house but they were respectful and did it from the street.

So late too the party, and you will likely not see my post, but love your place. I was raised at Cherry Point, they've torn down most of the housing that was then when we were, we left in the 90s, but we lived on vance rd, way back in the back. They weren't anywhere as nice as what you have, but they were home. I hope you and your husband are as happy as my family was,we were there for almost 10 years.

Studies show that a lot of our indoor air contains more VOC’s than most outdoor air! This is mainly because of cleaning products and all artificial fragrance (candles, air fresheners, etc). Fragrance in the United States is VERY unregulated. If you really want to use candles still, soy and beeswax candles are better!
This is good to know and also scary :'( I am definitely happy to be finding more natural home fragrance ideas.
Ohhh I love simmer pots! We did one before we had showings for our apartment years ago. Set the mood. 🤣 they're amazing! In the fall and winter, I love making simmer pots with cinnamon sticks. 😍 Yours looks amaaaaazing.
That is an amazing idea! I can't wait for fall and winter to bring out all of the cinnamon and cloves! My favorites!
