Wow! I had no idea that Tatum's tail had been broken. He looks alot like my last dog that I had for about twelve years. Bella was abused by her last people and I got her directly from them. She, too was afraid of kitchen utensils, wasn't particularly dog friendly, loved all sorts of food that was a little weird for dogs and was always the life of the party in her own quiet way. It may all be due to being a Staffordshire Terrier but watching Tatum is sort of like a vicarious thing for me now. I really miss my old dog. Bella went rocketing off through the cosmos on October 22, 2023, roughly seven months ago and life will never be the same for me, but she was thirteen when she died and we had a great life together while it lasted. Dogs, unfortunately are sort of a flash in the pan and then your heart gets broken. Parrots live a hundred and fifty years (macaws) and dogs get fifteen or twenty years if they're lucky. Sometimes it doesn't seem fair, but It may be the way it is so we get to know a number of them. They're so wonderful and knowing one would never be enough. On May 10th I went to the pound here in Raleigh and met a one year old Staffie who I took home and named Sadie. She was adopted and returned and she has that puppy energy and I'm guessing that was the problem. They did nothing with her so we're learning the basics now but she's shaping up nicely so far. With dogs you get out what you put in so I expect she'll make a great partner. She's very sweet. She's my third Pit Bull type and I really like the breed. I'm soon to be seventy and have only one family member now, my daughter, who lives in Sacramento and Sadie and I live on our 37 foot RV. Having a dog is what makes it work for me. I hope you'll thank Tatum for me for all the great entertainment he provided while I was dogless. The videos were a comfort. I plan to continue watching. Tatum sort of grows on you. I'm sure you're aware of that. Great video! Thanks again.
