  I’ve been playing the kit for 25 years….. I saw Volta 21 years ago, in 2003, play De-Loused cover to cover and it immediately changed my life. Theodore is an absolute master of his craft and an incredibly humble human being. He should be included in the conversation with all time greats.

  Me seeing this video only has one comment, “please don’t be about booka” (takes 10 seconds for comment to load) “goddamnit it’s about booka” (And no I’m not saying this because of the recent S/A allegations, I’m saying becauseif seen so many comment about her looks, and 90% of them are straight up objectification. I mostly feel really bad that that’s what she has to go through from a large part of the fans of the band.)

  Short answer: Yes. I replaced mine with a Frequensator Epiphone style tailpiece. Taking all the excess weight off the top of the guitar really opened up the tone, and it always stays in tune now.

  Awesome video. Do u happen to have front and rear tunebot settings for the tuning? Also, I notice that you have a hole in the res head of the bass. Do you put a reinforcement on the front, and if so, does it affect the tuning? To me I can't get the head to be consistent on all the lugs.

  A bright boost in front and an EQ in the loop cleaning up the low mid mud/breakup transforms this amp. Can get a solid metal tone out of mine.
