Frazier getting up after that uppercut just after 6:35, absolutely defies belief..!! That was a wrecking ball of a punch.

I honestly don't think any of today's boxers would last more than 3 rounds with George in his absolute pomp !! Tyson Fury is huge and very durable but George is not throwing punches he's throwing bombs , this guy can knock you out with a glancing blow!! I honestly think George was a generational talent and had it not been for Ali would have dominated the Heavy weight division for years !!

Alice in the first two rounds was holding holding holding Frazier a lot, what's kind of nullified Joe. But wants Joe hit him with that first big left hook. In the third it was the beginning of the end.

Just a quick comment about a forgotten heavyweight, George Chuvalo. Chuvalo never fought as an amateur - he had 94 pro fights with a record of 74-18-2. Lost to Foreman and Frazier by TKO and lost to Ali by UD. But was never - not once - knocked down in 94 fights. He was never put on the canvas - now that's one tough guy. Don't know a single fighter who ever did that.

Joe had won fights over tall, massive fighters with long reaches before, Buster Mathis and Oscar Bonavena. The problem was neither of them hit with as much power as George did.

Frazier was totally uncapable to avoid Foreman punches. Anyway Foreman was too powerfull for him. Frazier handicap was to must cut the distance, the refree in first round should advice Foreman to not pushing away Joe, but the end was already writhe. Foreman take punches from every angle, so no way out for the small Joe. To much longer George's reach.

Joe Frazier is my favorite boxer of all time. It is hard to watch him get bounced all over the ring in this one. His style was tailor made for Foreman's strengths. Joe only had 4 losses his entire career. 2 to George, and 2 to Ali (IMO he won Frazier-Ali 2 but that is another story for another time). Only question I ever had is why did Frazier never fight Norton?? Similar styles for sure but how did those 2 never meet?? RIP to who I think was the best...Smokin' Joe!!

After his defeat to Muhammad Ali I sank into depression Foreman does not to lose to an aging boxer who perform below expectation the only thing that saved him was his tactic experience but definitely not his boxing skills nothing to do with that. I was so upset with Foreman loss I stop watching boxing for 10 years because Ali was too arrogant and talk too much he ought to be punishment but got away with it.
