    Hi Byron, Last week my Goal Zero 1250 after 8 years of having it, I turned it on and nothing happened. About two years ago I replaced the battery with a Vmax SLR125 12Volts, 125AH Deep Cycle, Solar AGM Battery. With no issues, now it will not turn on, any ideas? I removed the battery and fully charged it. I checked the connection and everything seemed soild. I'm a retired Emergency Manager, and for the same reason you keep yours around, I do also. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thx Mike!

    VMAX batteries are having problems. You should check to see if the battery is short. The on-off buttons stick a little; try tapping the button on and off.

    my guy, you need to look into using tea lights for heat! you can run 1 or 2 of them and get much more heat out of them then this. especially if you make a way to collect the heat and disperse it. look it up theirs lots of people out there running candle heat! electric heat is the most in-efficient way unless your running straight off solar energy.

    How much energy do you save? Like 150 watts???

  • @SteffenBoserup
    @SteffenBoserup6 ай бұрын

    There's no savings at all - only expenses. Due to efficiency, ht loses 20%, when he is charging his powerbank, and another 10-15% when he starts his heater. Actually he could save the cost of the MyHeat appliance, just by trying to charge the powerbank with it's own inverter - sounds dumb, but that would generate as much heat, and the cost would be less. If somebody needs that little heat in their home, then there's around 75 Watt of heat in a single tea light, they can burn 8 hours, and they looks nice ;-)
