Ou … I know the problem. I put the black cable on the wrong place. It should be on top of the battery (on the metal) not on the side metal. (the 5th pack from left to right of all packs ).

4 blinks on my battery BMS when connecting 42V to charge wires; unfortunately it's not taking a charge (charge light is green instead of red). Main battery leads measured 2.8V instead of 40V. Now trying to charge with 42V over main leads to see what happens, it is taking a charge so far...

Sorry if the battery is not holding charge then she is dead. Replace all cells with eve 3200mah and you will gain more AH with the same size battery

@@deepmystic6739 hard to say like that. Maybe one from 10P is still not full? BMS don't die just like that. Usually there is other problem. Are all connection points from the battery to the board undamaged. Try to lift them with plastic and not with metal

@@trebor1477 Batteries all charged individualy to 4v showing 3.87-3.91. Re attached battery and blinking red light. Put charger in and still no look. Shows around 3.6v oit put on wires after BMS so looks as though BMS is not letting full power through. 🥴

Measure all battery contact on BMS. If you are getting voltages below the 3.5V i think this cam may be a little lower around 3.3V. Then you need to charge those segments. And if You get 0V then you need to swap those batteries. Or yet better change them all for EVE 18650 3200mah cells.

There are no easy PNP boards. And I will say go with my config but you will still need to configure some Merlin options differently. But it is worth it to mod with the same board. You will get silent drivers and you don't need end switches at all. So less cabling 👍

Here is voltages on cells: 1 - 3.99v 2 - 4.16v 3 - 4.03v 4 - 4.16v 5 - 4.15v 6 - 4.16v 7 - 4.06v 8 - 4.16v 9 - 4.17v 10 - 4.03v bms output to mainboard 41.2v Brake light working, forward light too but on lcd only one blinking dot and when i accelerate scooter doesn't run.

@@DDanielQ you can test only groups if some of them charge up to quickly they are probably bad. Blue is OK . Try to drive a little and then plug it in the charger. Now I don't have m365 any more. I switch to smth stronger ))

Nice build . you need to remove sd card or disable black box to use osd ihave same problem. . i builded same frame with emax eco ii 2807 motors amd have so much problems with tuning i think needs another motors . i use same speedybee f405 stack

The old setting was probably from changing from BF 4.3 to 4.4 with the old 4.3 BF cli file. And then from 4.4 to 4 4.1 so after the problem I did clean flash and manually transfer all settings in 4.4.1 and then did I get those defaults rates. And after that did everything work just fine.

@@trebor1477 oh i see! so your old CLI file from 4.3 caused the problem when you moved it to 4.4? i read about many bad issues in doing this. so they suggest to use clean 4.4 or clean 4.4.1 default settings. then manually configure everything to make quad fly.

Because how are the batteries connected in series. This is 10S battery pack. And the charging connections are not the same there is a difference. If you charge it on one side you will charge only 5 battery groups in series so this will be 5S. If you look at batt. Pack you will see in total 5 segments with 6 battery together. In this one are 3 with minus terminal on one side and 3 with plus terminal on one side. This one pack is 2S. So if you charge the same on one side you are 50% done and this will be 5S shared so you need to do the same on the other side to charge other 5S pack. Ok ? )

Yes i really enjoyed modifying it. I was thinking to make it RGB to print in colors . Well the print quality is allso great now. The very first upgrade on this printer must be printing head, feet for heating bed and 8mm sliding bearing are terrible.

I have almost the same balancer as yours. I get the error "CONNECT ERROR CHECK MAIN PORT" I have done everything you said in the video, any suggestions as to why I get this error? LiIo Charge 0.2A 3.7V(1S) Connections look identical to yours.

@@Five7weezy what do you mean? in iMax b6 if it want to charge in LiON mode. select NiMH mode for a few seconds, it will bump voltage of a sell a bit and then select LiON mode again and charge like normal

Hi I have replaced the bms board and both rails but still have 4.red led lights. The battery pack voltage is 40v but the bms output is only 20 odd volts. Any ideas? I have tried another bms but its the same result.

Flashed 4.3 today but the stock pids are absolutely unusable, lots of wobble just during hover. I think it doesn't hurt to try your pids :) But looking at your dump, I really would like to suggest looking into bidirectional dshot with rpm filtering. Requires a different esc firmware but almost doubled my flight time to ~6-8mins, depending on fly style. For the esc firmware I would suggest Bluejay using 48kHz.

Yes it can be used, but this new display is so much better. But changing from 8bit to 32bit and better motor drivers is huge step forward. On 8bit bord there is no enugh space for Marlin extensions. On SKR 1.4T you can enable all options you want 👍

Depends what you want to do. If you need bigger bed and you want to mod it then Anet A8+ but out of the box Ender 3 V2 is better. But after you do BLV mod Anet is great and i will not replace it. I learn a loot transforming my printer 😁

If this is mesured at end off black connector then no. You need around 42V when it is full. And 38V vhen empty. If you got blinking red led try chraging cels as i did.

Same issue here with 4 red blinks om BMS. Each cell was about 2 volt. I have now charged each cell to ~4 volt each. Still the battery contact to BMS just shows 3.4volt, it was the same before Charging each cell..😢

Hi. Did you try to charge this pack slowly? It can be damaged cels. You will need to replace them in this case.

How many V do you get from the battery? Try to press the reset button near LED diodes
@@trebor1477 Batteries all charged individualy to 4v showing 3.87-3.91. Re attached battery and blinking red light. Put charger in and still no look. Shows around 3.6v oit put on wires after BMS so looks as though BMS is not letting full power through. 🥴

my battery flashes red 4 times.. 3 fast flashes then 1 long one and turns off...
Measure all battery contact on BMS. If you are getting voltages below the 3.5V i think this cam may be a little lower around 3.3V. Then you need to charge those segments. And if You get 0V then you need to swap those batteries. Or yet better change them all for EVE 18650 3200mah cells.

Hello..i have anet a8 plus and i want to upgrade the mainboard..do you have any idea which one should i buy?i want the replacement to be plug and play to keep the downtime as short as possible as now the machine is working pretty busy
There are no easy PNP boards. And I will say go with my config but you will still need to configure some Merlin options differently. But it is worth it to mod with the same board. You will get silent drivers and you don't need end switches at all. So less cabling 👍

Hello, thanks for video. Charged battery pack like you show. BMS show solid blue light. But when i turn on scooter i see on lcd one green dot blinking thats mean the battery is discharged. How can i solve this?
Did you plug it to the charger? Is it charging? Fully charged 18650 cell is 4.20V

Here is voltages on cells: 1 - 3.99v 2 - 4.16v 3 - 4.03v 4 - 4.16v 5 - 4.15v 6 - 4.16v 7 - 4.06v 8 - 4.16v 9 - 4.17v 10 - 4.03v bms output to mainboard 41.2v Brake light working, forward light too but on lcd only one blinking dot and when i accelerate scooter doesn't run.
@@DDanielQ try to balance each cells as close as it's possible. But there can be that some cells are also bad and they need to be replaced.

@@DDanielQ you can test only groups if some of them charge up to quickly they are probably bad. Blue is OK . Try to drive a little and then plug it in the charger. Now I don't have m365 any more. I switch to smth stronger ))
Nice build . you need to remove sd card or disable black box to use osd ihave same problem. . i builded same frame with emax eco ii 2807 motors amd have so much problems with tuning i think needs another motors . i use same speedybee f405 stack
Maybe yours motors are to powerful ? I`m happy with my tuning. How many amp pulls your motors in normal flying? I get 5 to 7 A while flying.

nice review video! is the working settings the default values in BF4.4.1? also where did you get the problematic settings with power off at the altitude he had returned?
The old setting was probably from changing from BF 4.3 to 4.4 with the old 4.3 BF cli file. And then from 4.4 to 4 4.1 so after the problem I did clean flash and manually transfer all settings in 4.4.1 and then did I get those defaults rates. And after that did everything work just fine.
@@trebor1477 oh i see! so your old CLI file from 4.3 caused the problem when you moved it to 4.4? i read about many bad issues in doing this. so they suggest to use clean 4.4 or clean 4.4.1 default settings. then manually configure everything to make quad fly.
@@renerjose4753 Yes this is a safer way ) but to be on a safe side better check those settings. Oh and don't forget to manually select 57600 baud for GPS couse it will work much faster.
Please explain why you are charging the battery connecting the chargers minus to plus, and its plus to minus. Thank you. It doesn‘t make any sense to me.
Because how are the batteries connected in series. This is 10S battery pack. And the charging connections are not the same there is a difference. If you charge it on one side you will charge only 5 battery groups in series so this will be 5S. If you look at batt. Pack you will see in total 5 segments with 6 battery together. In this one are 3 with minus terminal on one side and 3 with plus terminal on one side. This one pack is 2S. So if you charge the same on one side you are 50% done and this will be 5S shared so you need to do the same on the other side to charge other 5S pack. Ok ? )

Yes i really enjoyed modifying it. I was thinking to make it RGB to print in colors . Well the print quality is allso great now. The very first upgrade on this printer must be printing head, feet for heating bed and 8mm sliding bearing are terrible.
How do you switch profiles? I saw in betaflight you have 3 pid profiles. Can you change those in the betaflight screen via smartaudio ? I am a beginner, and always have to switch using my pc from profile to profile
I think it is only one profile or maybe 2 for 1s and 2s. Look bardwell video how to set up transmitter switch for this

I have almost the same balancer as yours. I get the error "CONNECT ERROR CHECK MAIN PORT" I have done everything you said in the video, any suggestions as to why I get this error? LiIo Charge 0.2A 3.7V(1S) Connections look identical to yours.
use nimh mode a few seconds, so it bump battery a little bit enough to enable liPO mode to recognise

@@Five7weezy what do you mean? in iMax b6 if it want to charge in LiON mode. select NiMH mode for a few seconds, it will bump voltage of a sell a bit and then select LiON mode again and charge like normal

Hi I have replaced the bms board and both rails but still have 4.red led lights. The battery pack voltage is 40v but the bms output is only 20 odd volts. Any ideas? I have tried another bms but its the same result.

Flashed 4.3 today but the stock pids are absolutely unusable, lots of wobble just during hover. I think it doesn't hurt to try your pids :) But looking at your dump, I really would like to suggest looking into bidirectional dshot with rpm filtering. Requires a different esc firmware but almost doubled my flight time to ~6-8mins, depending on fly style. For the esc firmware I would suggest Bluejay using 48kHz.
I'm on bluejay 48kHz. I had the same problems as you do. Just try my dump and report back.

Yes it can be used, but this new display is so much better. But changing from 8bit to 32bit and better motor drivers is huge step forward. On 8bit bord there is no enugh space for Marlin extensions. On SKR 1.4T you can enable all options you want 👍

Depends what you want to do. If you need bigger bed and you want to mod it then Anet A8+ but out of the box Ender 3 V2 is better. But after you do BLV mod Anet is great and i will not replace it. I learn a loot transforming my printer 😁

My battery reads 3.53v is that not normal
If this is mesured at end off black connector then no. You need around 42V when it is full. And 38V vhen empty. If you got blinking red led try chraging cels as i did.

Hi i got a bms i put on battery and its blinking red constantly. And the output is like 16v to 17v switching. Do you know whats up with it. It does not take charge from the charger.

Same issue here with 4 red blinks om BMS. Each cell was about 2 volt. I have now charged each cell to ~4 volt each. Still the battery contact to BMS just shows 3.4volt, it was the same before Charging each cell..😢

Try with 0.2A. 1A is quite high. For first atempt set it to lowest like 0.2A

For bed i used 450mm and other 3 was 500mm bur i need to cut them a little
