@@ScottKershawRX well I use apps like FishBrain to get ideas, but particularly when it comes to cutthroat trout I study various cutthroat population assessments that are put it ever few years and other research articles to learn where core populations are located 👍

Utah yellowstones in late summer is the hardest I ever fished for one fish. Would love to fish it earlier in the year. Nice video.

So you uintas are kind of like the Sierra nevadas man cold in a lot of Rock but they also don't grow that big of fish not in high production I'll just let you know that I wasted a couple of Summers going to the northern part of the state to the uintas and I've never gone but gone back the middle of the states where it's at

We were up there about a week ago. The water wasn't so high and we all managed to catch our cuts, then we moved on to a friendlier stream where we all fell in.

Cool trip! Nice to see some water from that corner of the state. I've heard about the stream that everyone uses for their Yellowstone. I assume that's where you were, although I've done some map nerding and have other spots in mind. Anything that flows north off that range is game for the slam, right?

Yep that sounds about right, you can see the map on the Slam website that has the drainages highlighted that are home to the Yellowstone cutthroat, but check the Slam website for the suggested list of locations on where to fish so you have the best chances of success!
