What I was surprised to see no charging units at the newer apt buildings and condo complexes built in the last 5 years. Also NB government doesn't give a grant or tax credit for buying an EV.

If you can travel by foot or bike, do so. Transit is pricey for this town; a fare is only good one way i.e., you can't hop on and off a bus for up to 90 minutes in any direction with your transfer. Also best to keep your cycling on the trails, as drivers are not so friendly to cyclist on the roads even on bike lanes. Snow and rain is in the forecast this week, but don't let this deter you, as it will only last shortly. The trails can be hazardous in the winter, as they do not remove the built up ice; just remove some of the snow on top of the ice.

2.75 for a bus ticket is very expensive for a city of 60,000

@@Bozewani Very expensive! In the lower mainland of BC, you can travel by bus in any direction and get off and on as many times as you like and go as far as 90 minutes will take you on a $3.05 fare, as long as you do not use the Skytrain. And only $2.00 if you are a senior. Basically bus and HandyDART trips regardless of zones crossed, time of day, or day of the week are a 1-Zone fare of $3.05. After 6:30pm and all day on weekends including Sunday, you can use all of the system including the Skytrain for a one zone fare. what a bargain!

@@rps1689 Vancouver has 578,000 people which for that is a reasonable price though I would not call it a bargain I did my undergraudate degree in St thomas Univeristy in Fredericton SO I know when Idid my masters in Queens University belfast i felt relief that Northern Ireland is cheaper than Canada my dream job is the International Criminal Court my best friend Sabina Carlson organized a protest about the darfur genocide

@@Bozewani Definitely Northern Ireland is cheaper. Considering CMBC covers Metro Vancouver, which has a population of 2.4 million, it is indeed reasonable. I still think it is a bargain considering you can travel eastward for 60 Km from UBC area for $3.05. And travel northwards from White Rock to Horseshoe bay, which is about 70Km for $3.05. Unheard of in NB travelling those distances for that price.
