  Have a trade plan. Only take trades in markets that meet the parameters for YOUR trade plan. No market is ALWAYS going to fit anyone's trade plan.

  Luv the updates. Just a friendly suggestion Search youtube vid lighting and backgrounds etc. You can do way better with the presentation! What you're doing make your head do some weird science fiction kind of alien waving ... lol ... Anyways. 100% agree - Anyone who claims they know... Personally, I love to fade these "I guarantee it" guys. I found a handful who are consistently on the wrong side of things. As for what's going on? I agree... And I'll tell ya... Sitting on my hands is probably the greatest skill I have developed over 29 years. My working assumption is Freaky Friday was caused by a few things: 1/ Huge portfolios selling puts. Volatility selling - insurance - caused a massive MMer buyback. This was reflected in the VIX rolling off a like a snowball tumbling down a hill. 2/ The DOW was lot's of weak shorts covering. 3/ The ES was an old fashioned short squeeze. The weak shorts always tighten there stops. Thursday was sort of telling IMO... SPX would not go past 5270, so what do the rookies do? They tighten their stops early in the day Friday and wham...they all start firing. This is a game the big dawgs love to play. And it shot straight back a Mile High (5280) Now on the flip side... Was it institutional ETF buyers coming in strong as well as volatility sellers so save it? Could be. But to me the NQ is the real tell. It finishing red and below the April high? Moreover the HF and Commercials are now net SHORT in the NQ. So if the leading betas fall? It's a strong probability the market is going down with them for a liquidity hunt. Just a brief hiatus to let out some of the horseshit AI steam. That all said... I do strongly believe the S&P is eventually going to 6000. Again, nobody really knows.

  YM wiped ytd gain last wednesday and barely tcked above Thursday, not sure the upside outweights the downside yet. I recalled in 2022 YM was up while SPX and NDX crashed.

  There were only minor and short-lived divergences between the DOW and the NDX/SPX in 2022. There was nothing like a "crash" in the NDX/SPX when the DOW was up or rallying. The divergences we saw Friday is simply something that won't continue and should be watched as a potential "tell".

  Thanks Tom ... talk about getting a high in the pre on Friday ... I trimmed nvda half way during the day... friday's post/after hours (-2.63%) did not get any better...I going to watch nvda real closely in the monday pre and trim or whack...I am not looking forward to finishing March with the sideways chop...either... next stop.. what's the cheapest I can get nvda/smci :)

Key ideas: levels, higher-highs/higher-lows, major indexes moving the same direction indicates directional market, major indexes making new highs, set aside narrative and focus on price action, long up trend likely to show slowing of the trend or some time in balance.

  Hi Tom. I just recently discovered your work as a result of looking into the work of Don Jones. I have been reading through the old archived Cisco website which is a treasure-trove of insight from Mr. Jones. Some questions if I may. Is Mr. Jones still with us or did he pass away? Is there any video or interview footage of Mr. Jones? Is there any way to obtain a copy of his courses that he released through the Cisco website? I can imagine some course material is somewhat dated, but I would love to spend some time looking through that material, if for no other reason than to understand Mr. Jones' life work. Thanks
