  I bit the bullet and subscribed at a whopping $15 a month (way too high for any subscription) to avoid the endless commercials that are pretty invasive to the soul when communing with God. Yet, I’m still interrupted by the founder of the Pray app asking for likes and subscriptions to this, that, and the other. I honestly don’t even know what he’s pedaling because it’s so invasive and infuriating to still be ripped out of the moment, that I’m not listening. I’m trying to fast forward through to stay in the zone, but to no avail. It’s so invasive. And they’re long. They go and on. And worse, use parables as a selling tactic. I’m over it. Honestly, I have my own feelings about charging so much on the back of Jesus. It’s a decent app though, and when I’m not constantly being interrupted, I get something out of it., so I justify it. But those interruptions outweigh the benefits at this point. Hallow is much more reasonably priced, so I’m weighing the two right now to decide which one I’m going to keep. I’m not catholic, otherwise Hallow would be my choice; it’s cheaper and has no interruptions at all. It’s a peaceful vibe altogether and Jonathon Rommie is one of the voices, which is really nice. But it is predominantly Catholic, which is less effective for me personally since I have no connection to it. So either way, I’m compromising, I guess. But at the end of the day, if you have the nerve to charge $15 a month and still interrupt my experience, there’s just no justifying standing for that. It’s just too invasive.
