Hi, I am Chelsea's father. Thank you for bringing awareness to MMIW. This issue is a huge one and we need the help from as many people and country's as possible! like so many others i am still searching for answers to who MURDERED Chelsea Poorman. The R.C.M.P. as well as all provincial police agency's need a solid kick in the pants. This is GENOSIDE..As i type this the R,C,M,P, are in court to try and destroy all the evidenced they have on Canadas most notorious serial killer Robert Picton, who was murdered as he was approching day parole and was going to do a tell all!!! We are all happy he is gone, however i truly believe so many families would have had a lot of questions answered had he lived just long enough to talk! I deeply miss Chelsea every moment of the day. I will continue to search for the answers as well as help others, and there are so many more women going missing daily here. Thank You! What the song doesn't mention is that the US Army denied this entire story for decades, only finally admitting it was true in the early 20th century. Also, that about 200 prisoners were taken by US forces from the St Patrick Battalion, and 50 were executed publicly before one of the last battles. Those who had changed sides after the outbreak of war were considered deserters and shot, and others were regarded as traitors and hanged. Men who had enlisted with the Battalion before the declaration of war were spared.

Because deep-fake, mis-information, dis-information, mal-information and conspiracy theories (formerly opinion) were not enough to let us know that, other than weather, there is nothing left for us to talk about without consequences. I hope you'll pardon a bit of sentimentality, but I just want to say, as someone who discovered your music many years ago and always comes back to it when times are bleak, I am so incredibly thankful that you exist, and that you put in all of the hard work and care into what you do! In my eyes, you are both an incredible agitator for change and an incredible musical documentarian of the modern plights of working class and oppressed peoples across the world. Your music, to me, is a record of the thoughts and feelings of the poor and marginalized of our times. I was born too late to ever get the chance to show Phil Ochs my appreciation and gratitude for his work. But you are cut from the same cloth, with the same creativity, passion, dedication, and empathy; every time I listen to your music, it feels like I'm listening to the music he would have made if he were still alive today. So I want to sincerely thank you, who I consider to be his spiritual successor, for everything you do and everything that you make. The world is a substantially better place with *you* in it, both because of your music and because of who you, as a person, are. You are, to me at least, a beautiful, shining beacon of hope in this increasingly disastrous world. I hope you are taking good care of yourself and I hope you know how truly valuable you are!
