Anthony, Excellently written and beautifully shot. Your short film is very well done! It pains me to share my experience with you. But I know from the amount of attention to detail you put into this film that you will want to know about my struggle. I followed along until the ending, which left me unfulfilled. Here is why: I am watching from a hospital on a mobile device. In the closing scene, something is written on a piece of paper. Due to the bright ambient lighting of my surroundings and the tinyness of my mobile screen, I was unable to discern what was written! I have since gone back, paused that scene, and magnified it on my mobile device to discern what is written on that paper. As you well know, those words are key to bringing understanding and completeness to the entire film!!! The ending is brilliant and I did not see it coming (quite literally the first time); but it finishes out the film beautifully and inspirationally!!! This was super-well done! Thank you for the inspiration and effort it took to create and for sharing it with all of us.
@anthonylossmann80117 ай бұрын
First of all, thank you so much. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. For the end of the short, I am aware that it’s difficult to clearly discern what is written. Unfortunately, having shot the short film in a single day, I did not have the opportunity to reshoot this scene. Additionally, KZread’s compression further complicates the readability :/ In any case, thank you for your feedback :)
