Thank you. Had the same error code, and yepp, it was some water in the base. Not much, but enough for the anti flood system to knock it out. Dried it up and ran a short rinse program. But I can’t find any leak. Those two thin grey tubes in the front, that comes down from both sides; what are they. In my machine they don’t connect to anything. They just end and are not sealed.
I don't really know what those are for, so you didn't see anything while observing it from below while running? A pretty minor slow leak is probably the worst variant I can imagine especially on a gasket somewhere. I know there are leak finding products for cars around but I dunno if something similar exists for home appliances, maybe food color could work. If your machine is as old as ours (~10 years I would Check all the rubber hoses if they are brittle but having a clear idea where it's leaking is probably most important. (if you can run several washes without it failing you might could put a sponge onto the tray and dry that every week or so as a quick workaround. Tampering with the mechanism itself could be risking flooding.

My Ansmann 18650 battery got a leakage after some 10 recharges, 25€ gone out the window. Never buy anything from this guys again.
Maybe contact their support for guarantee / refund would be kinda interesting if they do ok support.
@@kunicross maybe,but to be quite honest am already fed up buying ANYTHING from a tech store now -lasts a few weeks or a month, even if its medium class, not the cheapest. I am thinking about going into thievery-its crap that you get anyway,but at least you don't waste money on it...

My son got a cheap VR headset quite a few years ago for Christmas. This one looks much better.

Yea I was close to do that at the back - which surprisingly hold together during filming and even on the move to its final mooring station.

1 USD is about 90 Eurocent or one Euro 1.10 USD. There is in theory a mechanism for the EU called Internet One stop shop (Ioss) where you would pay your VAT at checkout and the vendor would transfer that money to the eu. But that is limited to a certain amount (I think 150 Euro) so above you actually can't use that but shopify does not really work well with that... It's really complicated... In the end I need to send the vendor my tax bill and they'll repay me the tax I payed to them and probably not transfer the money to the EU (hopefully). Certainly I'm now looking much more positive towards any new attempt for a customs union with North America. (wasn't against it in the first place but now that I saw how horrible inter-border trade works nowadays...)
That's a lot of batteries to test and charge. I only had a few and the ones I have now are only for my GoPro. I usually bought Energizer or Duracell.
Maybe I'm a bit to well off with the ikea nearby and the many cheap and, exelent batters they sell 🤣 the other brands can't quite keep up with that especially price for capacity wise

At some special parts store because they claimed it was original AEG - turns out it's all the same china producer - saw them at Amazon and ebay as well for between 15 and 25 €. If voltage and watts match as well as the connectors it should be fine.
P. S. Better not buy a used one the rubber parts could be brittle.

Crazy cheap or crazy expensive? I still use mine and most games run good on it, stafield was a bit wonky but that was more down to it´s Settings. (default they reduce quality for fps and that makes it look like the Delta Force game from 1998... with ok visuals and 30 fps it was as playable as that game was able to be) @@fortunestimeexploring331

I had assumed the taxes paid at check-out are for duty-paid shipping, is this not the case? If not, then this really needs clarification! Especially since the duties are +21% at minimum (NL), and couriers often charge relatively outrageous handling costs for less valuable orders for paying them up-front. FedEx charged me essentially 14% of the product cost for "administration fees" when I imported a Schiit Fulla E :V Edit: It seems the answer is no. This is stated in a separate information page. I haven't seen any other non-EEA websites break down their prices as such, hence the incorrect assumption. I suppose the taxes are something along the lines of "export taxes", on which clarification would be very appreciated. Guess I'll have to hand a fat stack to DHL, as they charge even higher handling fees :)
The short answer is - it depends. in theory there is the Internet one stop shop system (IOSS) which LTT Store is actually trying to use here - in that system you pay the taxes once to LTT and that should be it. But that system does only work up to 150€ total so if you go above that sum you usually will have to deal with local VAT taxation. Also on top - with 150 Euro also Customs start to apply (at least here - but I think actually there is no minimum for customs they just don't enforce them below 150 Euro....) As soon as customs and local taxes start to apply additional charges are common in one way or another (either you gotta drive to your customs office and do all the paperwork which might be free in a sense but for me was at least a full work day of effort + 200 km on the car...) Imho the whole thing is so ludicrous complicated that most people who deal with it professional (Customs officers, Custom agents, Postal workers etc.) don't understand it and just apply "what has worked so far" and best practices so you´re very much at the mercy of them and how they handle it. As you can see in my example here - I got a around 550$ bill of sales and ended up paying 35 € in customs. (one day effort on my side and several hours on the customs side) A reasonable customs office could decide - "it writes here that ist for commercial transactions - lets us misinterpret that as only including B2B and not B2C transactions" - because the effort does not really justify the gains in the end and the whole thing is too complicated that anybody reasonable can be without error in that. Sorry for rambling on... I got a smaller oder on the way let´s see how that's going to do. (also seems my local customs office is rather on the bad side for customers)
@@kunicross I believe the Netherlands no longer has such a <€150 tax exemption for non-EEA B2C import. The way it's been handled in the past for me, is that the courier pays the import duties/taxes up front to the customs office, completes the delivery, and bills the recipient for the duties and administration fees typically ranging from €5-15, which on the higher end is ridiculous for parcels of relatively low value. EDIT: Unless the merchant is shipping duty-paid (where the customer can pay these duties up front themselves, avoiding the administration fees), or the merchant handles their transactions and tax-paying to the destination country thereof in the EEA (e.g. AliExpress).

Well you pay the taxes here as well you´re just not as bothered by them directly. (We tend to say here - "there are only 2 things certain in life - dead and taxes" ) But of course we have a wonderful opportunity here to pay taxes twice or as in my case twice and taxes for the taxes I already payed... :D)
Shipping and taxes can be very high. We were really surprised last year, when we had to pay more than 30 € when the delivery arrived.
Yea, at that store at least they show you both at checkout but of course not the custom fees - but those look much more uncertain since nobody working at the local customs (Zoll) has any idea how the customs actually should work. (at least that's my impression - not the first time I´ve seen such a thing in the bureaucratic complex...)

@@kunicross there is no way to make them fun. Well there is - if you don't have patience to learn doing it you can always pay here for middleman, that will take care of it. Tho I learned them at 8th grade, when I was ordering e-cigs from china, because then I couldn't afford paying for middleman, but now I glad I haven't, because now I do need to do this for my business
All my NiMH cells went bad or leaked. I barely used them!
One of my major reason to switch to nimh from single use batteries was that so many normal batteries leaked and destroyed devices in our household. So far I've not seen a single NiMh leak despite using quite a range of brands and price points. If they go "bad" a better charger can usually revive them (planing a video on those soon)
@@kunicross or just chuck a couple of volts across the terminals for a few seconds before putting them into a charger with a 'refresh' function (if you're paying 80 EUR for that you're getting ripped off - budget < 25 EUR for a charger that can test/refresh 4 cells concurrently). Kids toys are awful when it comes to at over-discharging NiMH cells; but they're straightforward to recover.
@Jakdaw most chargers with testing functionality in that price range I found only have one test slot but repair/refresh is quite common there (but there are also chargers around in that price point which can't do that so certainly something to look out for.) Also chargers are one of those few things where I kinda like having a reputable brand instead of a cheaper version.
Lidl / Aldi NiMh's are good at 4GBP/5EUR. I have some over 10yo that are still working good.
I only have very few from Aldi and they seem to be mid range / ok, at lidl I bought quite a lot and they had quite a range of different specs, some of them seem fine while others are kinda bad. The ikea ones so far had persistent high quality but you almost never get a sale on them (price is also not too hight through). (lidl often sells left in over packs at 30% off here as well as Aldi) There are videos out there claiming that IKEA batteries are enerloops and those would certainly be too expensive.
Can confirm the green "ready to use" Tronics are okay. They don't do heavy load well AT ALL but for low drain things they're great. Every smoke detector in my house runs on a 9v Tronic. For higher drain stuff i use the LADDA 2450mah AA. They seem to be okay with 2.5-3 amps load. They really didn't like 6 amps though.
@johnbeer4963 yea the green ones seem ok, they had sparkly very colorful ones a couple of years ago for Christmas at lidl and those I feel like they do perform very good, the red tronics have a very high self discharge and are almost unusable due to that, C cell tronoics seem to run fine as well (I guess the bigger batteries usually do) I'm currently in the process of testing all of them but that's another rabbit hole I went down..
@@kunicross the sparkly ones are actually really good. My grandpa had 1 AAA 950mah in a old broken charger on a shelf for years. I measured the voltage and it was almost dead (0.1V), i recovered it and tested it. I did a discahrge test and it measured 879mah with a load of 400mah. It 's really impressive considering how it was treated.

Isn´t there a button or lock at the trunk? I can´t quite remember how it was on our model but that might vary (our now car can only be opened there via the button - that was a problem when the motor that moves the lock broke) I think American cars require a emergency open thing in the trunk but that does not help much for day to day operation.

You complain alot, constantly saying how you didn't have fun, making it, or saying a kids gonna break it. Stop moaning even lego sets this size can have fragile parts.
I had a couple of sets from them and this one was by far the worst while the forest police one was overall the best and much superior. (the newer sets from lidl go all the way up to 40 euros which is borderline to expensive for them, sadly) And those sets are very clearly made to be played with but this ship has several design / build technique problems which will limit the playability quite a lot (or the stones I got just lack the sticking power to support the design, idk) - on the upside there is no reason to rebuild them into something totally different.

Well I think quality wise it would be better to try to get to Cobi level than just surpass Lego - also the lego set would have had twice that many stickers! ;)
@@kunicross I have just finished building some fake lego from Poundland the build X range which I have already done vids on. The quality of Lidl playtive produced by Gudi are nearly identical to the quality of Build X produced by Quan Gaun and they are both about 95% Lego quality in My opinion. These Quan Gaun parts might even be better quality then Gudi they also are the exact same colour as Lego the only issue is the clip elements are a bit tight with bars. To give you a idea of quality level Cobi would be 85% of Lego as some of there parts are brittle and prone to break, and Bestlock would be around 15%.
I bought alot of these sets waiting to do videos when they come back but they never did. Lidl started selling official Lego alot more after these Playtive sets where cancelled.
They do come up from time to time again at least here in Germany, got a Lidl supermarket one which I bought a couple of months back but never ended up making a video about. I would like to inform people on easy lodges accomodation. It is in a verry poor state of maintenance, many guest complaint about BED BUGS, there are clear signs of burglary and the director (Christian Conrad) is fraudulous. They charged me for two cabins due to a error at booking. They said they could not refund because they could not rent out the other cabin. Then without further notice they did rent out the other cabin. A horrible place. No hate, just to inform fellow travellers about the current situation at easy lodges.
