Q: How do you make crappy audio sound good? - A: Just play music in the background at such a high level that you can't understand anything you're talking about.
thanks for review here 👍 like that you can power it via USBC, hope to see more things in the industry include the PD as standard. the '1200 nits' enough in direct sunlight? or sunshade pretty much mandatory? don't love having to rely on hood when its more than just myself reviewing capture. have learned that 'nit ratings' are not always created equally, and noticed you didn't do an outdoor test.
I dont even have the option to select create multicam clip in Resolve 19?
Appreciate the tips! Super helpful for me editing a interview!
I have a Canon r10 and a sigma 18-35mm I will be able to stabilize with the weebill 3s
Great tutorial! Much appreciated! +1 sub 🎉
thaaanks dude!! ...so usefull!! grettings from Mexico!!
4:26 moving back - “right, where he resumes”. What happens there? Plays, then freezes for 10 sec, you don't want to jump over the time it freezes? That's why you move clip back to where freezing started?
I have been working on videos that have 2 camera angles and are long in length and I've been "struggling" (more like taking much more time) with editing both of them at the same time. Thanks a lot for the tutorial
Josh, I saw your earlier video on making light of editing using Multicam and until I saw that video, I was all at sea. This new video now confuses me a little since I almost always have 2 cameras - one on my face and one on the food prep and I have over 60 episodes to edit and have been confused for 2 months. So, can you transcription-edit in Multicam as well, so, you first choose your Angles on the first pass, then load up transcription, then edit the entire multicam 'set' so it slices up the chosen angles and preferred audio in effectively a second pass with only one render job at the end of it? Does that work do you know please??? I am old and very prone to forget what I am going to say, so I deffo need to use transcription editing to save me time, but do I do before or after choosing the Angles/Cameras????? I would prefer to do the Multican bit first and then run transcription on the lot. I was going to do the angle edit, then render it. Then load it up into another project and do the transcription edit but it would take more time. Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated. Plus, if I go the Compound Clip + Transcription-Edit first, then decompose in place, I have not yet worked out how to merge a load of now edited clips into one merged big clip with its audio track that I can save and use it in perhaps another project without having to render it? Many thanks in advance. It is great finding someone who seems to understand what hurdles me and others have in place stopping us from moving on. You are a star.
Dang, how cool is that!
I’m using the latest version of Premiere Pro and I see no dialogue when I come to save .I suspect earlier versions may do this .Im planning on back grading to an earlier version to check it out as impossible to export my PP project at this stage
Fabulous tutorial.
Awesome & thank you for sharing Josh 👏
do you record in 60 FPS and then use a 30 FPS timeline?
Freeze frame is so cool, I feel like SINGING about it
I just realised, I'm not subscribed to you 🤔
Great tutorial, Josh! This is super helpful 🙌
this is amazing
damn bro.
AWESOME...Thank you.
Favor: Please add (Free/Studio) in the title so noobs can save time! Thx
DOOD!!! I have always wanted to know how to do this. Thanks for teaching 😊
Ohhhh how super cool!!! Another video of the "Phantom 19" version Very useless, I mean... very useful That DISLIKE from the heart!!!
What's wrong with 19? I've been using it with no issues.
@@Live4Christ1995 The answer is simple, but ask the owner of the channel... I didn't choose to be a KZreadr to explain and teach people anything on KZread... I already do this, at universities and audio-visual training, some even for free... Ask the channel owner, he has the obligation to answer you... the problem is knowing if he knows the answer, if he has the knowledge to give you the correct answer
nice mate
Good stuff. Magic mask is my friend. I don't have the patience to cut subjects out by hand. LOL
i think it's paid , there is no free way ?
I ordered it. Îm waiting it a lot. Zhiyun is no fast at all to expedite it. It is 6 days nows and still no email confirming the expedited gimbal.
great video, significantly more informative and effective than everything else I've found. Thanks
Copy and pasting color on every cut is a pain in the ass , it has to be a better way to do it
what if I have an interview between 2 people with 2 good audio sources from a zoom F6? How would I incorporate those 2 audio files in the multicam set up?
I don’t have an alpha output. Tried all of these step by step and nothing worked for me. Nothing blacked out. It’s just his the words all together.
its much easier on premier pro
I don't like this solution. I'd rather just copy all the chapters and paste them into the description below the video. Can this be done?
Anyone know what to do if you don't get the Create New multicam clip option in the drop down when you right click the selected clips? My DaVinci is up to date with software so slightly confused..
Love that
PLS don't use your mac while charging, it hurts my soul. btw great video !
Great and concise explanation!!! Thank you!!!
How does this work with multicam?
Wow, nice job... wondering if this can also be done if I have 8 clips but from 2 cameras, I had some issues while recording and had to stop and record several times, and adding to the pain, one camera did not record audio but thank god it did work for video and the audio was recorded separately. How can I make use of MultiCam if I'm in this scenario?
I followed very step and DID NOTHING for me. I had to do it manually. What is wrong? Using Resolve 18.6
mans said "Tell your mom" LOL. great video. thanks for sharing the info!
This was hugely helpful! Thanks heaps legend
Hi, I need some help. I have to edit a short film with DaVinci Resolve. The audio recordings I received (wav) are split into multiple tracks. Is there a way to combine them all into a single file to avoid syncing each track individually?
When you have the same song licensed as well 😂, I love "Nobody's Safe" so much I have a couple versus memorized LOL! BUT even more love this video, thanks for the help man!
TYSM!!!
Yay!!! Another video about the "ghost" version 19 which recently entered beta 2... and there is no expected release date for the final version... But it is super important to make videos of version 19 because they will certainly remain the same when the final version is released... For fans and KZreadrs on duty this is of interest, but for video editing professionals and producers we are not interested in the beta version of Davinci... Maybe KZreadrs have exhausted their knowledge and have to talk about something, right?! Hold that DISLIKE with your heart!
More on Davinci SFX pls!
That's great for Video where a Recorded sound track is added. The problem is tat (TRANSCRIB or CREATE SUBTITLES FROM AUDIO) Doesn't work for REAL WORLD audio. In my cases I'm lucky to get 60 to 70% accuracy . Besides you can't just cut things out of a PLAY or Consert. You know Video that really says something, Not just Yacking to get a U-Tube video. BMD needs to rework their SPEECH to TEXT.
I get somewhat good transcriptions from real world audio. maybe try different settings
Love the video. Sub for sure. When I changed the composite type, my logo stopped showing up. Tried to fix and look up why, but could not figure it out. Any advice?
I couldn't figure out what was missing in this video lol. Then I realized that glasses are gone. It's crazy how drastic the difference is And I just learned something.... I didn't know that decomposing a compound clip that was cut will restore the original clips... but with the cuts
Yea it’s a dope trick. Fyi, I got lasik on my eyes haha
