Do suppressors usually come with everything to run on a 300 and 5.56 or do you have to buy separate parts to make them work on both?
Also means if you get divorced she can take it
Do you sell suppressers? For 22 or or 22 magnum?
I like the video, but… 1. Shouldn’t have music during shots. 2. You need a high quality mic that does not have any compression. The unsuppressed shots sounded like nothing at all. I’d assume it is due to compression kicking in. The sandman S and the flash hider alone sounded almost identical
Silencers don't work good enough to coast 1'000 dollars make one or use a oil filter throw it away went done .
Great information
Great video! Very well explained, great job Eric.
What's with the 'responsible person' for an 'individual' application??? I've got NO NOK...
Look. This is gonna sound petty. But if you mention glock 48s shield arms mag, you better mention the p365xls magguts mag too.
Thanks BF Armory. We'll done Young man.
Well the flash suppression on the k was non-existent with the 10in ar
How come Massachusetts and Michigan were blurred?
The blur stayed to block his address
Thanks, best explanation anywhere!
😂i love seeing all aspects of mounting scopes. He ended up mounting with the rifle put together....o...k...
I thought this guy was a yuppie but that was the best informational video i have seen relative to suppressors. Nice work dude but please grow out your beard. You look like a barista. Just kidding man. Great video.
Great video. Very informative and to the point.
“Everything we need to know”….I still have no idea how to type out a trust!!
Basically get a lawyer to protect your items from the government, and if you can’t find a lawyer they’re suggesting an online source.
I filled out the forms to change a couple of braced pistols to SBR last year...do I need to resend picture and prints if I want to change another pistol to sbr...and how about with a suppressor purchase?
By pictures I mean both a picture of myself and of the gun in question
I submitted n eForm 1 eleven months ago and it still says pending. According to the ATF site updated in 03/24 eform ones are taking 90 days. Why is mine stuck in a black hole. I have called there help desk and am being told everytime everything looks good it's just waiting on the agents desk. Any ideas? Thanks
Do you have a link or recommendation for the electronic finger print card service?
I used nationalguntrusts. It was very easy to get the .EFT file needed for submission
hovno ukázal...
Would you suggest just using the Trust for NFA items or all rifles and handguns one may own?
Just NFA
You can put everything in it. If you have a sizable collection or high value items it ensures those go to the right people without any hassle and they'll never end up in probate.
Weird question,I had to withdraw a from 1 because the im not a robot tab was not showing up. Is this a bug in the website and will it make or break a form I submit if I don't click it.
About 2 years ago I found this video, followed your instructions, and ordered my Special. Thank you and I continue to direct family and friends to this video after a range day with my M1. Thanks for all you do.
what do you recommend? i want to get a gun trust and dont have an NFA item, but would build one later one. should i get a gun trust now? or wait to when i buy or build an NFA item?
If you acquire a title 2 weapon (NFA item) as an individual, then later on decide to transfer that item into a trust, you would need to fill out a form 4 and pay the $200 tax again. So you're better off getting a trust setup first, then going through the ATF background check. That way, you only pay the tax once.
I hate when people put crap music in the video so we can’t hear what your saying please for the love of god do not do that anymore it makes people not want to watch your videos
So if I attach an EFT file then I dont have to bother anything with that cover letter thing they email me at the end?
Its all the 2nd law of thermodynamic
When creating a gun trust with intention to name family members and beneficiaries, does it have to be created by any specialized lawyer?
No, any attorney has the ability to create the trust. Whether or not they have experience with them is another matter.
It currently takes about 5 to 7 months to receive one of these in the mail instead of buying it from someone else’s truck
ummm, what in the felonies? ...
Thanks, I probably would have bought one already if not for the wait time, there's always another gun to buy, accessories, ammo, etc, so those kinda get in the way of me buying something and waiting 8 months for it. But I do really want one and I'll take the plunge eventually 🤷
If you are submitting as an individual, now might be the time. Check out what the wait times are currently (March 2024) We're seeing tons of sub 1 month approvals and have gotten forms back in 6 days, 4 days, and 2 days in Feb.
Well thats great you had a conceal carry license...But you didn't explain the best route to take if you dont have anything... some of these training courses are 300 dollars
Very informative! How about ammo? since the Garand can not shoot current factory ammo and I don't reload it makes it hard to find proper ammo.
GunDigest actually did an article on this a little while back. gundigest.com/gear-ammo/ammunition/m1-garand-ammo
Thanks very much for the info! I will look for that ammo. I would value your thoughts on the modded gas plug. I don't know how good it would be.@@BlackFlagArmory
Very informative video.
Glad it was helpful!
All True been watching since 1970 BUT I would just buy a new one, 😁😁😁
Found the information very helpful
Glad it was helpful!
1👍🏻😎🇺🇸
Thank you For this VERY informative vid.
Glad it was helpful!
How do you acquire one without giving up your rights?😳 good science information though
Legally? There aren't any juicy loopholes or anything like that. Unfortunately, suppressors are regulated by the NFA and that isn't likely to change anytime soon. On the bright side, so far in 2024 we've been seeing some super fast approval times happening.
No offense. But "everybody" talks about a bunch of things that does not matter and what really matters for people looking for info on suppressor is never explained. Where is the explanation on how to attach the plethora of suppressors to the barrel of the rifle? that's where the rubber meets the road. No info on that whatsoever... unbelievable. OH my bad! everybody knows that. People come here to hear that a suppressor is to suppress the blast of the shot. I didn't know that thanks for spending all the time to explain that. I thought suppressors were to embellish the gun...
No offense taken. Here's the 30sec version. You can get a suppressor that is 'direct thread' or that uses some style of 'quick detach' mount. Direct thread suppressors thread right onto the threaded barrel of your firearm. You have to make sure your thread pitch matches, then just spin the thing onto the threads. Quick Detach mounts come in all brands, shapes, sizes, and designs. But they all work under the same principal. You thread a muzzle device, also called the mount, sometimes, directly onto the threaded barrel of your firearm. Then the suppressor that is made for that stype of mount, either screws or clamps onto the mount instead of being thread directly onto the firearm. The mount stays on the gun, the can can move from mount to mount quicker. Hope that helps!
Roseburg here l wear same belt peace brother
Audio gets lost in translation getting formatted. A decibel meter is really necessary to give us objective empirical comparison. I really appreciate the effort, but it is impossible to understand what you are hearing at the rifle from what I am hearing at my cell phone.
Yep, compression wrecked this one in a number of ways. We're working up a huge shootout with over 100 cans, solid audio equipment, meters, and zero compression for the shots.
Thanks for the video.
Good video. I was wondering if you had a suppressor for a 300 ultra win mag? You said you could use one up to 300 win mag. The you.
There are actually quite a few cans that can handle that kind of pressure. I'd check out the Dead Air Nomad and Nomad Titanium as a starting point.
What if you sbr a rifle then a year down the road you decide to do a gun trust, can you add the gun to the trust?
I believe you do have to do an additional transfer via form 4 and pay the $200 tax stamp to transfer it from individual to the trust
Yep, already answered here, but that is correct. You can transfer it into the trust without ever giving up possession of the item, but it will cost you another $200 tax stamp to do that.
Well done.
So do I do trust or Individual ? For a sbr ap5? Also i have a chieff of police where i live can i put that instead of sheriff?
Your call, we almost always prefer trusts for the flexibility. And yes on police chief as well.
Why can I hear every breath and swallow this guy does
Because the kids love ASMR? Or because we had to crank audio volume lol. Duly noted.
Can you use a 9mm suppressor on a 22lr ..if the suppressor has a adaptor 1/2 x 28 and a 1/2 x 36 ??
Yep, you sure can. There will be a bit of loss of suppression because of how much larger the bore of the suppressor is than that .22lr round, but it will work just fine for you. Give it a shot!
Hello to you all, I would like for someone to show how well does a fuel filter or solvent traps really work if at all everyone that I have spoken to said do not waste your money, so does anyone already know or already have a video all made up and ready to show with sound and real bullets like for the 30 caliber and 223/556? thank you all
