    Personally I have no need for awd, if it’s a option than fine. But as standard equipment all it does is add weight, cost. GM needs to keep the production cost of this vehicle as low as possible. I’m looking forward to this vehicle, hopefully GM makes a solid vehicle.

    Hope the front mirror will fold inside by itself once the ignition is put off and open by itself when you start ignition. Please also introduce Seat Adjustment settings for atleast 2 drivers . It should save setting for Driver 1 & 2 so that each time we need not spend adjusting the seats. Also keep an additional option for front and rear dash recording cam as it’s a necessary nowadays for evidence in case of theft or accident . The seat to floor height should be bit higher so that medically during long drive our feet should not develop DVT ( Deep Vein Thrombosis) as none of your CARS have a height more than 13”. Unlike other Countries in USA & Canada people drive a lot traveling from State to State driving 17 to 24 hours one way continuously with Stops at Rest Points. Most of these drives are on Cruise Control which tend to develop Blood Clot in the legs known as DVT. I would request TOYOTA to look into this and raise all the SUV and above model Seat to Floor height above 14”. The legs should not be too tight when placed on floor. Hope my comments will add certain things to all your up coming models.

    @TopElectricSUVАй бұрын

    Hi Joann! Since the new Bolt is going be a re-engineered version of the erstwhile EUV, we're not all that certain about an AWD. That said, we're also hoping that GM does offer a Bolt with all-road/all-weather capability in the future!

    The BOLT is a relatively small and inexpensive car. Not sure why you need 350 kwh on a budget car, that most will use for commuting. Even at 125, it's plenty for this segment. If you talk BLAZER, LYRIQ, then absolutely.

    The Big 3 are just playing their usual games and trying to manipulate the market in their favor, like they did in the 80s & 90s (which led to Japan eating their lunch). They know that if they screw up, Washington will bail them out, so in many ways, they really are incentivized to lie to the customer & cut corners on build quality wherever possible. If you want an EV, get a Tesla or literally any manufacturer that isn't Chevy, Ford, or Stellantis. Ford recently announced the closure of several battery plants and seems to be coming up with whatever excuses they can to quit making EVs, and Chevy discontinued their top selling EV for what is essentially vaporware at this point. Meanwhile Tesla, Hyundai, Honda, BMW, Volvo, and even Toyota are all making solid EVs.

    They should offer it at the $25K price point or at at least one version of it so that at least one American automaker can claim to have hit the affordability price barrier to mass market electrification... I have my doubts about the seriousness of GM's EV ambitions despite all their claims...

  • @TopElectricSUV

  • @shrawan1878

    If priced at USD 27k, and if supply is steady (and no recalls), GM could finally catch a break with their EV ambitions. The new Bolt and Equinox could bring many new customers to GM.

    They already did with the BOLT. Wanted the ID.4, but 14K more? I became a first time GM buyer. The only thing I HATE with GM is you can't modify some car features with GDS2 and SPS. With VW ( VCDS), anything is possible.

  • @brucehatfield3088
    @brucehatfield3088Ай бұрын

    Yes, it looks like car makers are going down the same road as before. They have convinced everyone that they can only get by with an SUV and we are about to see electricity guzzlers on the roads. One thing that I do like about Tesla is that they started out with a sedan as their first mass produced vehicle and since they still draw electric car fans who do want a sedan (Model 3) some companies should rise to that challenge. That is what Kia/Hyundai is doing. They Ioniq 6 was a bold move, an EV that was 100% sedan. Same for the EV4 although I would not mind if it had a hatch. I own a Kia Niro, and please don't call a FWD hatchback with only about 6" ground clearance an SUV or crossover. It is just as much a hatchback car as my original '77 Accord or '81 Civic hatchback.

    Hello! Toyota's Hybrid System for the 2025 Camry is an upgraded one. Sure, it would have been more exciting if the new Camry had an all-electric option or even a Range-Extender (similar to the Ramcharger), but given its price segment, and the current cost of batteries, there isn't a lot Toyota can do with the powertrain.

  • @shrawan1878
    @shrawan18782 ай бұрын

    I think the new Camry is a big step up from the previous generation, and the Hybrid-only strategy can be construed as the last-ever Camry with a combustion engine? By 2030 demand for an all-electric Camry would be understandably high!
