Prayers to you Jim. I found this channel from my sister sending me the newspaper you appeared in for Green Bay Press Gazette. I am actually what they call a care giver to my wife. I hate that term so much. She has Parkinson's just over 4 years now. You probably know the family, Ravet. They graduated from Ashwaubenon as well. My wife graduated in 85 but she has older/younger sisters as well. I know the tears you showed there so well. We have shared so many together. It extremely difficult but you need to have faith and hope. It safe to say I learned more about this dam disease then I ever wanted too. I still struggle with being a caregiver and watching the person you care most about suffer. There has been a lot of ups and downs along this road. I can only say there is so much positive coming out as well, I wish it was faster though. There is support out there. You have a lot of different treatment options available for different aspects of this disease. They do help and you can slow it down and hopefully get it stable and still live a good life. Don't give up hope and don't focus on in 5 years. Stay strong, pray and hope. I look forward to watching your remaining videos my friend. Hugs to your care giver also. You are very blessed that way <3

Kirsty MacColl was freaking great... i also remember The Knack playing at Rogue, June 1994. thanks for the shout out, my friend, you are too kind. and OF COURSE i know your trajectory started at Rogue! maybe we need to do a Zoom panel episode with you, Ron, Cliff, Hank Mhoon, Dante, JD, me... anyone else? - Dean

I came over after seeing you react to Money Game 3 with Joel. I don't think Joel discussed Ren the person with you, but I strongly encourage you to look into him and his art. Ren has a large following among people with chronic physical and mental health issues, as he has been through a horrific battle with Lyme disease. He was not diagnosed correctly for 8 years and has extensive residual issues. He has been in Canada undergoing alternative medical treatment 5 days per week since Jan '23. I cannot describe how much he touches and inspires and consoles others. Wicked sense of humor, insanely talented, pure of heart. Watch Hi Ren! Sending you love and best wishes. Thank you for reaching out to help others!

I cried with you. You are truly inspiring and I have subscribed to your channel. I am so excited to listen to your story and support you in that journey. Celebrating your life and the experiences you have had, and are having, should be shared. Thank you for doing this, as i am sure that it isnt easy. But why take the easy road now! 😊

I just saw Joel read out this enormous list of bands you'd been tour manager or whatever for before you reacted to a singer Joel and I love. From there I thought I'd check out your channel; after watching all of your first video plus parts of the others, you've got me hooked -- I've set notification to full. Are you open to doing music reactions to stir things up in your favor? Personally I had no idea there was this vast subculture out there around reactions but then I bumped into Dimash, and wanted to connect with others who loved his music as much as I did, and suddenly boom, it's a whole new world of reactors and fans reacting to them. Someone like Joel or you can totally jump into that and instantly connect just by reacting to artists with fans who want to connect with other fans by a route other than turning up at concerts. (Especially for old acts, double especially ones that are no longer touring.) So, do you know any artists who have fans, especially acts that have been around for a long while or were around a while back? 🤔 Seriously, maybe start with the list of acts Joel read out and sort it according to the artists that you or Stacy (sp?) think might most excite one of you if the pair of you react to their songs. Then maybe search KZread for their songs, and try pick ones you don't recall hearing before (even if you know the act). It doesn't really matter how you react. I already know you would make a very engaging reaction host. Just make it up as you go along, joke around, say whatever you want, and see if any fans of an act turn up and engage. Sometimes you might get no one. Other times you may get a flood. It depends on the act and their fans. Maybe you'll bump into fans who were at gigs you managed? Who knows. Maybe even mix things up with acts you've never heard of (maybe like Dimash, but probably not, probably something more like Ren -- try his Back on 74 / Message in a Bottle), just to connect with the pulse of great music right now?

Hey Jim. We met briefly once or twice every year when I went to see my buds with Collective Soul and you were the tour manager. Always professional and polite to all. I applaud you for doing these videos in explaining how you are dealing with this and in hopes to help others understand. My questions to you if besides the food, what do you miss most about not being on the road and what are the skill sets needed to perform the role of a successful tour manager? Thanks and all the best to you.

I love that you speak so openly and honestly about your situation and what you two going through. I'm so glad for you that you're content knowing that you've accomplished and experienced so much in your life. In a previous video or post, you spoke of sitting back at parties you've arranged and just enjoying watching other have a great time socializing with each other. There will hopefully be a lot more of that for you and all of us. How random is it that we ended up meeting up at O'Hare after not having seen each other for decades. I can still remember following behind your taxi to your hotel to pick you up to go out for a pizza and a beer. Ashwaubenon was a great place for a kid to grow up.
