  The "Trailer Connected" warning is because you have the old harness, not the new one. Call Magnum, and they will replace the wiring harness with the correct newer one for free.

  If you loosen the front rack support braces at the bottom, the bolts are inside the fender behind the headlights, the front bolts line up easily. If you ride at night the front box makes the handle bar light useless so be ready to buy a light bar. Even on high the fender mounted lights are lacking without the handle bar light. I unhook the handle bar headlight to get rid of the reflection off the box.

  And that manual is totally useless! If you know that manual cover to cover it tells you absolutely nothing barely enough to get it powered and turned on! Icom it seems has a major problem with allowing those who buy these repeaters to use them. Why you ask. Well it seems to me that D-star is all that they want you to use it for and to get it on the air you have to build between one and three or possibly more servers and possably a LTE box. Still out of the box it will not speak to anyone ! You have to contact Icom America and get a cheat sheet as to which 5 URLS that you have to go to to download enough software to even start to program this thing! I am speaking from first hand experience, I just baught a 2 meter version in November and just got it.

  Thanks! I had same problem after pulling mower out of groundhog hole, it wouldn't start. I checked fuses and all were OK, noticed one was loose, but didn't think anything of it at the time. After seeing your video, I remembered the loose fuse and tried to start it and it started right up. You saved me from a lot of testing of switches and starter!

  Just came across the trailer series, 2 years later. Interesting project. Had the chance to buy one years ago, equipped with a Lister diesel and a 1 Kw generator. Backed off since gen set was only 1Kw. The crank up tower would have been nice but I came across a deal on a Will Burt pneumatic mast about 35 feet tall. Figuring how to setup mast with an air compressor and valves and a box on a trailer.
