Thank you very much for promoting our capital Sarajevo and our country! In the video, we were able to see and hear a lot of information about Sarajevo and Bosnia, but that is only a small part of what Sarajevo itself hides, as well as our thousand-year-old country. There is really a lot of historical events, as well as natural beauty, as well as very tasty specialties, which could be tried and presented. Thank you once again and I hope that you will come again to Sarajevo as well as to Bosnia in the hope that you will feel better every time and that you will feel more comfortable and welcome in our beautiful country. I was very touched by the moment when you talked about the war, about the mother and the child, you could honestly see the emotions on your face, thank you for being a sensitive person and may God protect you and your family wherever you are, amen!

In Sarajevo, you eat well and drink well, there are always too many calories! How to spend them? You can enjoy sports, walking or going to the mountains and, of course, sex. You chose to go to the Yellow Fortress, and it's a way to burn off those extra calories. Great choice! 😁👍 And "Avlija" means courtyard, your backyard, a place where you enjoy yourself. Home sweet home ...😉

KM (local currency symbol) or international symbol BAM (Bosnian mark) is of the same value as the former German mark (DM) and the smaller unit of this currency is not a cent but a pfenning. In relation to the Euro (€), approximately 2 KM for 1 € (1.96 KM=1 €). And the fact that Bosnians don't like hustle and bustle and that stress kills, we call it ćejf (cheyf). You enjoy every free moment in life, you drink coffee for half an hour, you enjoy eating and drinking, you relax your soul in nature...Thank you for the wonderful videos and I wish you a lot of enjoyment in my country, Bosnia and Herzegovina...

Another great video. I subbed to your channel after I saw 4 in a row :) 7:14 Unfortunately, Bosnians do smoke a lot :( and in public too.. As a non-smoker I hate that fact. I really hope it becomes less prevalent in the future but yeah... it's one of those things that anyone who prefers normal fresh air simply can't accept.

To answer your question, the war in Bosnia was well reported and documented on the mainstream media back in the 90s, but unfortunately, because majority of Bosnians were Muslims, the West didn't care to help us for 3 full years. We were even embargoed by the EU so we didn't have weapons to defend. Only a few countries helped us get defensive weapons, namely Iran, Pakistan and Malaysia. In the end, NATO intervened in 1995 after the Srebrenica genocide happened. NATO held a bombing campaign of some of the military positions of Serbs who were occupying Sarajevo, which helped break the siege of the city. This was also mainly thanks to the USA. If social media had existed back then, it wouldn't have changed much, because still at the end of the day, Muslims in Europe were a thorn in their eye for centuries. Bosniaks, one of the few White Muslim nations in the world are an antithesis to the polar division of "East" and "West", and as such, we were condemned by many. It is interesting how despite all the odds we still managed to preserve our country and our nation.

Hello, I only have 5 days to enjoy Bosnia, I have decided to spend 2 nights in Sarajevo and 2 nights in Mostar, can you tell me where to buy the train tickets? My last day in Mostar I would have to return to Sarajevo to go to the airport and I am worried about the train schedules to get there on time.

  • @skylifenstyle

Mostar is beautiflu but you should see other cities, like Jajce, Travnik, Trebinje, cities in river Una valley, maybe some different activities like mt.Cincar and herd of wild horses, National parks Una and Sutjeska, Perućica jungle (last jungle in Europe), canyons of rivers Drina and Tara or evan Vrbas, lakes like Ramsko lake, Nature parks like Tajan and Blidinje etc...really lot to see and expirience...we also have spectacular cave systems like Vjetrenica cave or Bijambare cave..in Konjic you can visit underground bunker from cold war era, 200 meters deep undergroun structure built for Marshall Tito, or underground military airport called Željava near Bihać.

It is very easy to corrupt a man. Give him a little taste of wealth and power, he will find excuses to arm himself and go to war. "If the son of Adam were given a valley full of gold, he would love to have a second one; and if he were given the second one, he would love to have a third, for nothing fills the belly of Adam's son except dust. And Allah forgives he who repents to Him."- Prophet Muhammad (May peace be upon him.)
