I did it with the engine on... it's too hot to do it without the A/C running 😂. I held it until it started blinking, then held it again and it stopped blinking, then held it again a third time and it went to 100%. Thank you very much!

Thank you for taking the time to help those on the fence about buying a battery-powered lawnmower. I've used EGO lawnmowers and other tools (blower, string trimmer, and chainsaw) for about 8 years. I have two complaints. Firstly, the battery drains quickly if you use the lawnmower's propelled feature. Secondly, in hot (upper 80s plus) weather, batteries may overheat. And I do mean they get almost too hot to handle with bare hands. And they will not recharge either until they cool off. It will take a while (twenty-plus minutes) even if you allow the quick charger's fan to cool it off. There may be a safety issue involved too. Hypothetically, of course, as all batteries fail eventually, even leak or explode. But I have not heard of any EGO batteries doing either so far. I just mentioned it as a precaution to change the battery sooner than usual if you suspect overheating in hotter-than-usual weather. This is my second Summer owning the 10-amp 56-volt self-propelled model with the X blade. I only mulch unless I let the grass get too tall then I must use the bagger and change to the proper blade for it. I have thick grass and the X blade does a wonderful job mulching. I don't let the grass grow too tall or it will bog down the mower, stopping it completely even on the highest setting. Thick tall grass will also drain the battery quickly due to the extra torque required to mulch the thick grass. BTW, my house sits on a level 3/4 acre and the 10-amp battery has never completed the full lawn: front, rear, and two sides. I have several batteries, so it is not an issue. But if you have a big lawn, use the self-propelled feature, have hills, and just one battery...good luck!

Okay so, yes this is the right way to use ACV on a wart, however, It is recommended to dilute it with water first so it isn’t as strong. That’s what causes the pain and discoloration on some people. It may take longer but it’s definitely the safest way. 2 part ACV with 1 part Water. Mix them together and then proceed. Hope it works for y’all.

Commercial electrician in the US. I’ve been using that trick on dead wires for years it’s fantastic. Another trick for hot wires is to plug in a vacuum and have a guy turn it on and off while you measure currant with your clamp at the panel you’ll see it plain as day on the correct conductor. I use this method in places like medical suites or where people are using computers so accidentally turning off the wrong breaker can’t happen. I usually use my PVC blanket instead of a vacuum as it’s quiet but I know not anyone has one of those or even knows what it is.

At 3.20 you said, referring to a snap2it connector, that "every time I would stick one of these things in here [MC cable] I would get shocked....because the little metal things would rip the wire." So...two things. 1. You shouldn't have been shocked, unless you took no care to not ground yourself - instead, it should have resulted in a short circuit to the jacket of the cable that you were shoving it on to. 2. Since every time you installed one of these connectors it "ripped the wires" did you leave things in that shape. I have installed hundreds and hundreds of those and didn't rip the wires. What were you doing wrong with the MC (metal clad) cable? Did you figure it out?

Holy cow! I had one on my knee since maybe March 2024 and it suddenly got bigger at the end of June. So I did the same exact thing on Friday or Saturday of last week and by Tuesday night (tonight) it was dry and popped off so maybe 4-5 days. It was dry and black. That was soooooo quick. I went ahead and did the treatment again just incase the root was still there. I cannot thank you enough for your advice! I did the treatment overnight btw if anyone’s interested, And let it breathe during the day. I was so upset it would potentially get in the way of my beach holiday next week but all good now 😊😊

I noticed you did a 90 degree bend before doing the twists, does this help with keeping everything together? If the wires are coming out of a box, would you also try to do a little bend before twisting? Or was this just comfortable for demonstration purposes? Thanks.

Hello, I have an older home and I want to install a GFCI switch and outlet combo where I have a switch in the bathroom. The problem is, there are only 2 wires PERIOD, no other wires are in that box at all! no capped white or black wires either and no ground, and the white wire is the hot one😬, I tested the 2 wires, I got 120+ reading on my meter so I guess I have a neutral, is the wiring reversed?? I'm confused, please help! It also has those 2 wires coming out of the GFI just like the one on your video. I bought this thing from Amazon and I want to find out if I can wire this thing and if I can't, I'm returning it before the 30 day window is up, thank you.

Per chat gpt Bootleg grounds are dangerous in a house because they create a false sense of safety without actually providing proper grounding protection. Here’s why they are hazardous: 1. **Electrocution Risk**: In the event of a fault or short circuit, a bootleg ground can allow current to flow through metal parts that are supposed to be grounded, such as appliance casings or plumbing fixtures. This can potentially electrify these surfaces, posing a severe risk of electrocution to anyone who touches them. 2. **Fire Hazard**: Improper grounding can increase the risk of electrical fires. Without a proper ground connection, faults or surges may not be directed safely to the ground, leading to overheating of wires, melting insulation, and potentially igniting a fire. 3. **Code Violation**: Electrical codes require proper grounding for safety reasons. Using bootleg grounds circumvents these safety standards and can lead to legal consequences, especially during inspections or when selling the property. 4. **Damage to Equipment**: Electrical appliances and devices rely on proper grounding to safely dissipate excess electrical energy. Improper grounding can cause damage to sensitive electronics or appliances, leading to costly repairs or replacements. In summary, bootleg grounds compromise the safety of electrical systems in a home by failing to provide the intended protection against electric shock and fire hazards. It’s essential to always ensure that electrical systems are installed and maintained according to proper safety standards and codes to protect both property and lives.
