I did it with the engine on... it's too hot to do it without the A/C running 😂. I held it until it started blinking, then held it again and it stopped blinking, then held it again a third time and it went to 100%. Thank you very much!
Thanks for sharing this essential knowledge.
Changed capacitor 7 hours later fan stopped turning
Thank you for taking the time to help those on the fence about buying a battery-powered lawnmower. I've used EGO lawnmowers and other tools (blower, string trimmer, and chainsaw) for about 8 years. I have two complaints. Firstly, the battery drains quickly if you use the lawnmower's propelled feature. Secondly, in hot (upper 80s plus) weather, batteries may overheat. And I do mean they get almost too hot to handle with bare hands. And they will not recharge either until they cool off. It will take a while (twenty-plus minutes) even if you allow the quick charger's fan to cool it off. There may be a safety issue involved too. Hypothetically, of course, as all batteries fail eventually, even leak or explode. But I have not heard of any EGO batteries doing either so far. I just mentioned it as a precaution to change the battery sooner than usual if you suspect overheating in hotter-than-usual weather. This is my second Summer owning the 10-amp 56-volt self-propelled model with the X blade. I only mulch unless I let the grass get too tall then I must use the bagger and change to the proper blade for it. I have thick grass and the X blade does a wonderful job mulching. I don't let the grass grow too tall or it will bog down the mower, stopping it completely even on the highest setting. Thick tall grass will also drain the battery quickly due to the extra torque required to mulch the thick grass. BTW, my house sits on a level 3/4 acre and the 10-amp battery has never completed the full lawn: front, rear, and two sides. I have several batteries, so it is not an issue. But if you have a big lawn, use the self-propelled feature, have hills, and just one battery...good luck!
so i have four gfi outlets on same circuit, I brought main power to first outlet to line then from load to line of next outlet then load to line of next outlet and so on. ( by this video I should wire all gfi's to line and never use load since I'm using all gfi's
Okay so, yes this is the right way to use ACV on a wart, however, It is recommended to dilute it with water first so it isn’t as strong. That’s what causes the pain and discoloration on some people. It may take longer but it’s definitely the safest way. 2 part ACV with 1 part Water. Mix them together and then proceed. Hope it works for y’all.
Commercial electrician in the US. I’ve been using that trick on dead wires for years it’s fantastic. Another trick for hot wires is to plug in a vacuum and have a guy turn it on and off while you measure currant with your clamp at the panel you’ll see it plain as day on the correct conductor. I use this method in places like medical suites or where people are using computers so accidentally turning off the wrong breaker can’t happen. I usually use my PVC blanket instead of a vacuum as it’s quiet but I know not anyone has one of those or even knows what it is.
Lemon juice does he same trick, around the same time fram.
At 3.20 you said, referring to a snap2it connector, that "every time I would stick one of these things in here [MC cable] I would get shocked....because the little metal things would rip the wire." So...two things. 1. You shouldn't have been shocked, unless you took no care to not ground yourself - instead, it should have resulted in a short circuit to the jacket of the cable that you were shoving it on to. 2. Since every time you installed one of these connectors it "ripped the wires" did you leave things in that shape. I have installed hundreds and hundreds of those and didn't rip the wires. What were you doing wrong with the MC (metal clad) cable? Did you figure it out?
Holy cow! I had one on my knee since maybe March 2024 and it suddenly got bigger at the end of June. So I did the same exact thing on Friday or Saturday of last week and by Tuesday night (tonight) it was dry and popped off so maybe 4-5 days. It was dry and black. That was soooooo quick. I went ahead and did the treatment again just incase the root was still there. I cannot thank you enough for your advice! I did the treatment overnight btw if anyone’s interested, And let it breathe during the day. I was so upset it would potentially get in the way of my beach holiday next week but all good now 😊😊
Great video. I will do the same this weekend. What size tube did you use?
Thank you. I believe it was either 1 1/2 or 2 inch. I can't exactly remember. I googled it and saw the one everyone was using. Let me know how it goes
That guy who short circuited neutral to ground is a complete moron.
Great tips.
Thanks for the video. I guess that explains why years ago I used my Knopp checking a light socket on an outside circuit and it kept popping the GFCI but if I used my Fluke 115 it would not happen.
My pleasure thanks for watching and commenting ☺
Thanks.
Avoid all the jibber jabber
Awesome video. Learned a lot. I’m new to the trade and trying to be licensed for electrician. This was very helpful for future projects/jobs
It's an amazing career. Keep at it
Colgate and baking soda before u take shower only 5 minute every day
Will this get rid of my mole?
Some here say it will. I personally don't know
I noticed you did a 90 degree bend before doing the twists, does this help with keeping everything together? If the wires are coming out of a box, would you also try to do a little bend before twisting? Or was this just comfortable for demonstration purposes? Thanks.
Honestly I was just mimicking it being in a box. The 90 degree was just easier for me to hold on to since it was not inside a box. Thanks for watching and commenting ☺
If only there were more of you in the field and in the class room. This felt like a cool uncle, sharing the trade with his nephew. It is obvious that you enjoy the trade, and that's what makes your videos fun to watch. Thank you!
I totally appreciate this comment. Funny thing is, I'm actually gonna become an electrical instructor this upcoming year. Thank you for your kind words. I appreciate your comment and watching ☺
I normally use plastic old work boxes in my house, but in the garage, there is OSB on the back wall covered with firecode sheetrock. The wall is 1.25 inches thick, so I needed a metal old work box. You gave me the education that I needed. Looks like the F clips will do what I need to do.
Awesome I appreciate you watching and commenting. Good luck on your project.
I owe this man… THANK YOU!
The comment and the satisfaction that got your ac fixed is more than enough. Have a great "cool" summer. Thanks for the comment and watching ☺
Box offset
Gotcha covered kzread.info/dash/bejne/f6Z5y7R-qb2ah5c.html
What happens if you put a socket tester into a 2 prong outlet with a 3 prong socket for the 2 prong outlet? (If that makes sense)
Won't show any ground.. Open ground
Very nice. If I wasn't already into the Milwaukee packout stuff, I'd get the modbox.
I like their stuff too. I appreciate your comment and watching ☺
Please do a video how to put it back on. Removed too many.
You can also tighten it with a hair and it dries up and falls
Hey sir. Thanks for the video. Im using this metal raceway. How do you go about grounding this conduit? Just the same as any metal conduit? If the tubing is snug I can just ground at the outlet and switch boxes?
Dry fire ok wo snap cap ??
I'm not telling you to do it, but I don't have a problem with it. Snap caps tho definitely ok in my book
Didn't work!
Hello, I have an older home and I want to install a GFCI switch and outlet combo where I have a switch in the bathroom. The problem is, there are only 2 wires PERIOD, no other wires are in that box at all! no capped white or black wires either and no ground, and the white wire is the hot one😬, I tested the 2 wires, I got 120+ reading on my meter so I guess I have a neutral, is the wiring reversed?? I'm confused, please help! It also has those 2 wires coming out of the GFI just like the one on your video. I bought this thing from Amazon and I want to find out if I can wire this thing and if I can't, I'm returning it before the 30 day window is up, thank you.
Sounds to me like you Only have a hot and a switch leg down at the box. Your neutral stayed in the light box. I'd say no without being there
@@MountaineerOutdoors thank you.
So if I’m wiring several gfi in same line hook all to line none to load
My opinion that's what I would do
I had a fried frog on my AC.
Yuck
I have the same exact ego mower as you be careful if you mow around any rock as it will punch a hole right through the deck of the mower. As expected ego gave zero help with a repellent and I ordered a new deck on my own online should be here today. Then the fun switching everything over. Great review I will definitely try out that blade on my mower once she is back up and running!
Good to know. Thanks for the info and watching
Homeowner grabs bread knife and butter knife, installs outlet box.
Does it also works on large skintags?
After applied the band can we shower ?
I did no issues
@@MountaineerOutdoors yeah after 7 days my skin tag is gone while i was taking shower hahahaa. Amazing product.
Agreed
how about my skin tag is now very big..it is to tagband😢😢😢.hoping for ur answer
Use dental floss
Thank you for the informative video. This was exactly what I needed. Saved me hundreds. Thanks so much!
Always my pleasure thanks for watching and commenting ☺
Can you help me understand why this is bad? I believe you, but I'd like to understand it from a more technical standpoint.
Email me with your question
@@MountaineerOutdoors why cant you answer me here? It’s inconvenient to email and I’m a busy guy. Plus if you answer here then everyone who is wondering this can know, not just someone who emailed you.
Ok no problem ask away..

Per chat gpt Bootleg grounds are dangerous in a house because they create a false sense of safety without actually providing proper grounding protection. Here’s why they are hazardous: 1. **Electrocution Risk**: In the event of a fault or short circuit, a bootleg ground can allow current to flow through metal parts that are supposed to be grounded, such as appliance casings or plumbing fixtures. This can potentially electrify these surfaces, posing a severe risk of electrocution to anyone who touches them. 2. **Fire Hazard**: Improper grounding can increase the risk of electrical fires. Without a proper ground connection, faults or surges may not be directed safely to the ground, leading to overheating of wires, melting insulation, and potentially igniting a fire. 3. **Code Violation**: Electrical codes require proper grounding for safety reasons. Using bootleg grounds circumvents these safety standards and can lead to legal consequences, especially during inspections or when selling the property. 4. **Damage to Equipment**: Electrical appliances and devices rely on proper grounding to safely dissipate excess electrical energy. Improper grounding can cause damage to sensitive electronics or appliances, leading to costly repairs or replacements. In summary, bootleg grounds compromise the safety of electrical systems in a home by failing to provide the intended protection against electric shock and fire hazards. It’s essential to always ensure that electrical systems are installed and maintained according to proper safety standards and codes to protect both property and lives.
U teach very good buddy thanks
My pleasure thanks for watching and commenting ☺
You ok, I am working around people pretending that they know . But just wasting materials. You are very helpful.
I know exactly what you mean. I appreciate your comment and watching ☺
Did you spent the night at Blowing Springs Campground or did you just go for the day
This day I didn't stay. Just stopped by
For the straight pull 3 x 8 =24” horizontal. Can the box be 24” x 6”?? Or does it have to be 24” x 24”? Thank you.
24 X24
Which campground were you originally planning to stay at, was it Hidden Valley Campground, do you only camp at Blowing Springs Campground or have you camped other places before
I originally went to hidden valley but I camp all over. I love all those campsites.
Hello I tried to use this machine to remove the lug nuts on my car but it didn’t work so I left them a bad review and returned it thank you
😂 😂 😂
That’s called a bootleg; illegal and dangerous
Definitely
Another thing to notice on capacitors is the prongs on each terminal . Common has 4 pins compressor has 3 and the fan has either 2 or 1. Also good thing to know. Good job though!
Yes I learned that much after this video. Thank you for sharing that here. I appreciate your comment and watching
U did good on your video. I just wired my wires to blower motor for my A/C. My finger tips hurt. I will take your advice. Thank u.
Thank you and I appreciate your comment and watching ☺
