  I was there! And I still have the ticket (price Italian Lire 44.000/€22,72). I was only 14 years old but my dad didn't pay attention to stupid controversy about the show (but which unfortunately it was able to sink ticket sales) and he waited for me outside the stadium till the end and he was so impressed by the American organization of the event, for the time that type of scenography was absolutely cutting edge with which Italy of the time certainly could not even remotely compete. Finally I remember that night Madonna did not sleep in Turin but in Portofino where she stayed for a few days.

  I was in that concert. It was a great show but I was there more for Shabba-doo than for Madonna. She was 2 hours late and it was hot and muggy. After she complained about the heat, she bought a mansion in Miami.😢
