So stoked I came across you legend's channel. That was a rippa of a climb to a spectacular place for lunch🏞🙌
You are really beautiful honey😘😘
@OnceUponAReef Guys, you are the guides, presenting life and nature and practical knowledge of science in a way of “Intertwined Worlds of Adventure” etc. Following your video, finding that sharks could live around 400 Years!! I would compare this to Lauren Roerick, Scot Manley, Tibes, Marques Brownlee, Stefan Milo, Thao Huynh, just to name a few people like you, giving those intertwined, practical and inspirational hints and views of, let’s say, “What a Wonderful World”, but also demanding efforts.. y’know. I personally would never give the hope up to go to Antarctica, in a meaningful way. Sometimes, it’s not the place, but the ways leading to such places, different approaches, just little steps … what to do, how to deal with different conditions.. Kim Stanley Robinson f. e. is showing in his Sci-Fi that in a not so distant future many people would take part in such technically challenging situations, like you’re representing… I patiently waited a Year and was glad to see you continuing to work out these artistic ways to future lives; respectively diverse living beings, animals and plants, always necessary to pay attention, mindfulness 🧜♀🧜♂🏝🥂🌏🌎🌍⛵🛰🌌
Great video, Please be careful. 🙏
@@TheRealMrCods glad you liked it ! Definitely know how to improve next time 😅

LOL get down brother!
😂😅🙌
.. and what about to go to cold regions???
We would definitely have to make some modifications to the boat. Where do you have in mind ? 🤔

Beautiful song to listen to while sailing, will add it to the playlist 🙏🎵🎶
Elf on the Shelf in La Library lol
Called relph who rhymed like nobody else and wrote it in his di diary 😂
If don't mind me asking, how do you keep your American passport safe, living on a boat. If don't want to answer, that's completely fine. I respect your privacy.
i reckon that they are Aussies💙
most boats have so many crooks and crevices and a passport is small. Poke it into some spot and be done with it. Other than that they really aren't much use to someone else unless they are trying to keep you from leaving.
@@danielboughton3624 oh no, I didn't mean like that. I have been watching Poppy's vlogs for few years. They are informative, and also I do like her.
As we live full time on the boat and don't have money for a storage container, all our stuff is on the boat too. Yes it creates the challenge of finding a place to store everything that "might be handy", especially in emergencies but it also means if the ship goes down, so does everything we own 😅. As long as the boat stays afloat it is usually hidden safe in a ziplock bag until I get something more waterproof 😂

A beautiful story guys - you too look great for each other. You really need to stop filming each other's near death experiences though!! Enjoy!
Naw thank you! Bahahahaha so true!! 😂

Beautiful place 👍
Yeah we love it here and so much to explore! Nice lagoon you can hide your boat in too for bad weather
This place looks so peaceful.
It really is such a special place and a great social event when there are other yachts in the bay ⛵
where is poppy?where is jordan
Hello there from Kansas USA
@@lawrenceforbach2627 Ahoy there ! 👋
Do you have plans for sailing out to further away destinations? Eg Fiji French Polynesia and Hawaii?! Plenty of reefs to check out around all those islands
Yes would love to ! It's been such a great training ground in paradise along this coast. Learning the boat and how to fix everything as well as saving up to do more remote international trips ⛵ Have you been to any of those places ?
Calling that reef "decent" is a major under statement. The corals there look like they are on par with the great barrier reefs
Yeah we were blown away by the fringing reef on this island! Being a near coast island it is constantly faced with natural and anthropogenic influences but has fared better than other areas on the coast. Comparable to some parts of the Great Barrier Reef for sure 🪸
hey, poppy
Hello 👋
You two are cruisey sailors a nice relaxed style about yez I’m going to follow you I was around there not long ago nice vid
@@georgedrager-bluewaterdreamer Such a stunning spot, so glad you got the pleasure of visiting there ! Thanks so much , heaps more awesome videos coming your way !
you certainly do know how to show the best coast line and underwater shots . I would guess this is all done on a shoe string budget , which makes it all the better . You don't need a million dollars to be able to have your life style . Yes it would help , but I truly believe you are loving all what you do . This channel will get better and grow into a beautiful life . God I can waffle , all I'm trying to say is , great episode , truly look forward to your next episode .
@@bobbrown5529 wow thanks so much for sharing 🙏 yes we love this life style as it incorporates freedom and adventure with lots of challenges and learnings. You're so right, we don't have much money and just work at usual jobs along the way but this channel is for the love of it so truely appreciate the support from people like yourself. ⛵
If sharks could walk..
Not sure we understand this one ?
@@OnceUponAReef Exchanged experiences, or close encounters - like in the movie Avatar - you guys getting so close to them, I mean to the sharks.. (with all respect to their behavior ). So, if they could do such things, they would probably like to have your experience out there… in millions of years to come, who knows where evolution and mind would, could lead us.. without our very distant ancestors we were not here also :) :)
Cute turtles
Such an amazing start to a life journey ! So blessed to have been there when it began 🐢
Dream place
I can't wait to go back here ! Maybe next time you come !
Sharks are amazing 🦈
They really are , always love spending time observing them in the ocean 🦈
What a Gem 🤩😍
Nice getting to those locations you can't always get to 😉
Amazing place :)
Fabio ! Yes it was such a beautiful island ! Hope your well my friend !
All I need right now is the song bit as a snippet so I can add it to my KZread music 😅, thanks for the video 😊🤘
Haha thank you ☺️
Poppy you look really tired and unhappy.
Aw thanks!
How do you guys dispose of your bodily waste-just poop and pee in the ocean?
It goes into a holding tank that is released when far enough out to sea
Silly question and feel free to not answer but how do you kids pay for everything? Great video as always, stay safe and have fun. 🙏
Poppy works as a coffee barista and Ryan is a jack of all trades. Last job being a skipper.
OMG, how did you both make the plate run for so long.
I know right?
The plastic lid was unstoppable. Reminded me at a race with a beach ball at the Belgian coast. There were very strong winds and I was a small kid. I chased the ball for probably half a mile and was not able to overtake and stop it. Luckily some guy walking ahead of it stopped it. Scarred for life 🙂. You should add the "along Australia's spectacular Queensland coast" to the end of your title. More descriptive. Nice video btw!
Haha yeah we felt like big kids chasing this thing along 😂
Beautiful video. I enjoyed watching it. Thanks for sharing. subd & 👍41
So glad you enjoyed it 🌞 Thanks so much for your support 🙏 plenty more awesome videos to come so stay tuned !
have been following you from where is Poppy, really like your series of China tour, now China has 144 hours VISA free policy, I think if you make a revisit it will make a heat and revive many people’s memories.
@@Supreme-tk1hi that transit visa thing is a joke. China needs to get on with the program and offer e visa on arrival like Vietnam at least
I did the Keppels by boat around 40+ years ago, enjoyed it then and great to see you enjoying it now. Great video again kids. 🙏
Awesome that would have been great ! Yeah the island was full of surprises and was so nice to see such healthy reef so close to the shore. With so many bays we just changed anchorages with the wind which was a great way to explore different parts. Glad you enjoyed the video ☀️🏝️⛵
Poppy looks homeless
Aw thank you!
Awesome drone shots. You need to start using click baity titles to get more views, as you deserve them.
The birds eye perspective you get with the drone is so awesome, makes me envious of the birds flying high in the sky! I changed the title and the thumbnail, let me know what you think. We really appreciate your support and want to keep improving as we go so love suggestions 🙏
@@OnceUponAReef , haha yeah, more enticing now 🙂
@@heiner71 haha great 👍 thanks for your help 🙏
A short song, a sharky long story..
You mean you want a longer song and shorter storey haha ? 😆
The song!!! 😍
Hahah 😂 I think poppy isn't scared of sharks anymore after it 😉
What a life god blesss
Yes what a life ! We love sharing it with as many people as we can as it sometimes only takes one trip in a place like this to really change how you view the world for the better 🦈🐟🐠
Don't let poppys channel die!!!! 😢
Beautiful scenery, sea life, and funny shark song. Loved it!
We both were laughing so much from this random song that came out and when we were actually filming haha 😂
@@OnceUponAReef So nice to see you having good times. I cannot be on a boat because of seasickness, even on a lake, so I live vicariously through these videos.
@@evepaludan7713 ah what a horrible thing sea sickness is! poppy actually gets sea sick but has found some good drugs called sturgeon 15 that she ordered from the UK. She also avoids caffeine and eats lots of fresh ginger in tea and food before sailing. The good news is over a lot of time persisting through living on the water, she now gets less sick. Either way we have plenty more videos to come and really appreciate your support 🙏
@@OnceUponAReef Thank you!
Beautiful out there.
Yes it is so beautiful out here, the remoteness and southern situation of these reefs have played a large part in preserving their abundance and biodiversity 🪸🦈
Beautiful place 💖
It truely is a very special place in the world 💙

Amazing place. Beautiful sea and island.
We love coming to this beautiful island, so alive !
