Sounds like you are scaling the image, either directly or due to margins

I used to use an Epson ET-2550 kzread.infoUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 , an early model of the ink tank style. It worked well, but had one nuisance that drove me up the wall; if you didn't put it in high quality print mode you'd get a streak across the page. I'm happy to say I have yet to see this with this printer. The print quality has been fantastic so far, the set up was super easy. All in all I'm very happy with this printer.
Hi Salian, thanks for the video! My only problem is that my Epson Artisan 50 with the 2 cards tray (identical as yours) when I print with photoshop using your template, there is a circle in the middle that doesn't print like for the whole in the middle of the CDs, also it doesn't print around the edges of my cards as it cuts the printing to a CD size printing with a circle around... Ant idea how to fix this?

Hi, thnk you for this amazing tuto. I have a small problem, when print I have a part who is not printed, it's the CD form, that mean the printer print the card exepet some round zone as if there was a CD detected. how can I make it normal print on full card
L805 driver will restrict the print to the CD area. Print using the R260 driver which did not have those restrictions.

It looks pixelated and not half as close to a real analog TV.
Generated the visual static at 4k resolution and then KZread downsampled it a bit, blurring it out. Would do the reverse the next time, generate static at SD resolutions (to match an analog TV) and upsample for KZread.

Hello good evening. Pls why does my Epson l850 for a none printable circle when am printing an id card. What I means is that not all the write up show ok n the cars and after printing I wld see something like a circle in the id card like that of a cd. Why is that happening?
There is no actual "ID Card" mode. There is a CD/DVD mode, where the printer prints only in a round CD/DVD area. In that mode, the L805 driver accepts items in the CD/DVD tray and restricts your print in the cut-out shape of a CD - however, but the older R260 driver does not, which is why we install that additional software (the R260 driver) and make sure we print through that R260 and not the L850. That's what this video is about.
Hi Thanks for the video mate. I have the last IOS version on my Mac 13.1 and I cannot print with the PVC card tray alywas have a Filter Error message. I heard it's maybe because the version OS is not compatible Can you tell me what OS version are you using on your Mac ?

It's a question of color calibration between the design software and the printer. You can try to edit the color profile, do calibration or just change settings by trial and error to reach an acceptable color tone.
What is the name of the toner used for printing on the id card?
Epson 673 ink. Now I use splashjet T673 ink.

You are very observant. Indeed. The L805 driver only supports printing in a round printable area on CD/DVDs from the second tray. If you use the L805 driver, you will not be able to print on the complete area of the PVC card. It is essential to print via the R260 driver to bypass this restriction and print on the entire ID card area.

Once adequate power is supplied, it's just like burning any other disk. It shows up on the desktop, open in Finder, drop your files in and burn the DVD. It's all available and integrated right in OSX's Finder app.

Yes it's just a template that tells you the position of the card designs on a fixed size canvas, you can convert it to jpeg and use your own favourite software to position your card designs on top in the exact same place.
Nice to greet you sr. I have problems with the colors, I use the r290 the colors come out opaque, I have the right card, but the gray colors come out greenish and I don't like them, my monitor is a current dell ips. Any solution?
Color calibration is a mystical art, you can try playing around with the calibration, the photoshop color profiles and the printer color settings by watching other videos specifically about color calibrating printers, and trying out small prints on paper. The L805 is a photo printer, it is definitely capable of being calibrated for decent color reproduction.

Saying "doesn't work" is so unhelpful. Can you follow the video precisely step by step and explain at which step you face an error? Also state the error message. That might enable someone to assist you.

hello my friend I need your help if possible I use epson L805 to print on ink pvc card I bought it 3 Months ago My device was working fine until now I have a problem with it my problem is white lines in specifict area on the card with dark color printing and color highlights in multi-color printing. I used epson orginal ink and high quality cards Everything is the same as before, but I faced this challenge actions that i did: I searched every words and situations on web I used head cleaning & nozzle check and everthing was okay I called to epson support but they didnt answer me because They told me that this machine is not for printing on cards, only CDs and paper I completely removed the epson drivers & .... then reinstalled them
The 'Flushing' feature helps me when this happens. But you can't flush often as it is expensive (wastes ink) and also there is a soft absorbent pad in the printer to absorb flushed ink which will get used up eventually.
I have a problem with Epson L805 printer, The printer does not print the card and the colors are easily removed from the card.. For information, the inks are original from Epson
The issue seems to be with the PVC card surface. Leave the ink to dry for a while. If it dries decently then you can encapsulate the card with UV Resin, or a Matt clear coat from a spray can, or simply a pouch or hard cover. Else try sublimation ink.
