No need to prepare anything, just need to be able to park at or very close to home. I just charge with a good extension lead plugged into a wall socket. (16A 240V) If you drive a lot a simple 3-phase or 32A (depending on continent) socket could be useful.

I dont have the option to require... I only found out that my apartment has Aluminium wiring when I tried to fix a socket... and its already so corroded that I can't even put the socket back in without shutting off the power to my room and my dad's room... and oh yeah, my apartment is using like 18 gauge aluminium wiring to do two rooms.... I'm surprised this place hasn't burnt down already with the fuse panel having 30 amp fuses.

Looks super easy in the video, but in real life that decorative cap was so stuck in there it was almost impossible to remove and that screw so tight as to be an immovable object.

Install a ceiling fan. Run the ceiling fan, the government said you have to run a ceiling fan. Keeps lights from dimming.

More about heat distribution not gas consumption. At least the single stage shuts off after getting up to temp but the two stage reduces flame but never shuts off? Gas consumption is more important for me than even temperature consistency.

A connector product called "alumiConn" is what I used. They are not cheap, but after installing them, I never had another outlet start smoking. Before installing them, I had 2 or 3 outlets that failed due to the aluminum wire. Nothing is perfect, but I was well satisfied after more than 10 years of NO problems.

Thank you for that suggestion. Tightening it down saved me from having to replace parts. Things looked a little corroded in there but the tightening worked. At least for the time being

When you are quoted a price FOR a furnace, ASK them for the brand and model #. Then go online to check that number. You will be shocked at what their markup is. These 4 and 5 thousand dollar furnaces are actually $ 800 to $ 1500 BIG SCAM!!!

Stay clear from modulating unless you are in the 1% to 5% bracket. Although it will act as say a hydronic system might have in the past it will not be an energy saving feature rather the opposite.

Thats how you sell a furnace brother. Thats not how you buy a furnace. Every house every case is different. People get a licensed contractor to explain you what you need.

The video mentions a typo print connection. It comes up later in the video as the best way to join al/cu. The closed caption clearly shows typo print but I can not find this anywhere on the internet. Could it be something else that I can research?
