  Nice to see corn from south of the equator! Tallest corn I've grown is a mix of open pollinated flour corn Reids Yellow Dent and Goliath White, generally ten feet tall but some up to fourteen with ears as high as eight foot off the ground. Deer can't reach it so easily up there. Looks like you are growing more of a flint corn, is that the higher protein 'cateto' type? This year I sourced as many high protein open pollinated corn seeds as I could locate (generally red, blue, purple) to create a nutritious mix. Thanks for sharing.
