I don't care what anyone says. Maiko is my favorite ATLA ship. They just felt like a real couple with flaws. Sure they had their lows, but the highs they had together was really sweet. It's also sweet when you think about in the fire nation, where they were raised by high-status families with high expectations, they found happiness in each other. Mai is emotional repressed but she genuinely smiles when she's around Zuko. And other than Iroh, Mai cared about Zuko and he never had to "earn" her approval. And even if you think the relationship was a bit messy before, after "The Beach" episode there were some improvements in that Mai became more open to Zuko about her feelings. I honestly can't do this couple justice in my explanation alone. Point is, it makes me sad how overlooked their relationship is. Zuko and Mai a really a sweet and even interesting couple when you think deeply about them. (Also sad they're couldn't be more moments between them because Mai was a secondary character).
Aang can sense attacks coming from the air or ground and probably attacks coming from water assuming he's in water. Also he can run on water no wonder the fire nation was so worried about him. Imagine if Aang were violent

The part where he apologizes to his Uncle always makes me want to cry. There is so much love there.
This is the best character arc and redeemed villain in TV history. I've never felt so proud of a fictional character ever. Him standing up to his dad always gives me chills. To have that kind of strength, resolve, wisdom and bravery to be on the right side of history at such a young age, and to give up everything for it is incredible. There is so much that can be applied to real life. Like wars in the real world, propaganda and lies, doing your part to spread awareness and do what's right even if its your own country that's in the wrong. Also child abuse, mental and physical, there may not be parents forcing their kids into an Agni Kai but there are parents beating and emotionally abusing their kids, sometimes the kids have to accept their parents don't deserve them and they will never earn what they deserve from them, whether that's love, respect, etc. These are themes that are extremely hard for people to grasp, yet this character in this cartoon demonstrates it perfectly. I just love it.
