The news bit is a good tip. My entries about covid from early 2020 are definitely a wild ride. I only have 2 months left in my five year Leuchtturm journal now and perhaps I'll start another one in june. You inspired me!

Really helpful vid! I am a vertical planner because I am appt-based. I would love to be a horizontal planner due to the blank page on the right, but there’s just not enough room and everything gets so cramped & messy. Thanks 🙏!

I love to swap up my layouts. from time to time. I have the Sterling Ink Common planner B6 vertical and love it. I have wound up with two part time jobs and needed something targeting work. I now have a SI TN and love it more than I ever dreamt possible. I use the B6 primarily for a central planner at home. Kim from “MartinMade-TV” I think that’s right. In February she used a different layout each month in her vertical planner - excellent

for the stamps, the ink in the corners is because you're pressing too hard on the ink pad. what i usually try to do is more like glide the stamp over the ink and not press so hard and you shouldn't have the problem with the corners

I use my monthly for my and my husband’s dr appointments and fun events but I love your use of collections to decorate them. I personally prefer the common planner and am happy that I went with the B6 compact. I don’t use daily pages but sometimes need the extra pages for notes, memory keeping etc. Note: my first Sterling Common planner is 2024 and she has addressed the cover. I purchased an A6 Hobonichi Hon for journaling not realizing that it has monthly calendars and goes straight into dailies- it’s ok for journaling but not as a planner in my opinion. I agree

I love your reading tracker and omg where did you get that reading journal. 2024 is the first year that I am using a Sterling ink Common planner I am in love, i am currently using a B6 compact and I still keep a Hobonichi weeks for on the go but next year, I will continue to use the common planner and a Sterling N2. Hopefully by the time the pre-orders are up, I will have decided if I will go with the compact again or the 2 book system

I personally love either a vertical or dashboard type spread, I.e., I divide one page into 8 squares - then each square is a day, and there is a square left over for “This Week”, or thoughts, etc. the other page I select a word and include the definition, pronunciation, and origin of the word; a quote; a sketch, etc. I obviously can’t use this for a really busy week. Good luck! I loved every minute of your video! It took a good 3 years for me to switch to a bound book, and now I love it! I also love that Sterling uses the white Tomoe paper

Thank you so much for sharing! I used to do the 8-square division in my bullet journal, but then switched to Hobonichi and later to Sterling Ink. So far I am enjoying Common Planner but also looking into other brands.

I used the goal planning spread as written this year, which didn't make sense to me, but I relabeled the second half of the spread as quarters too. I haven't filled it out and I love the idea of using them as achievement logs! Definitely going to do that. Still mapping out smaller goals in the back I think. Thanks for doing a full flip, as someone who is going into year 2 as well. Instead of tracking habits on the quarterly, I use the left side to track sleep and energy and the right to track what happened (date night, going outside, talking to family, etc). That way I don't feel bad if I don't do a lot that day

Super useful video! I'm starting to plan my 2024 Common Planner while I flip through my 2023 Planner and doing the same exact thing! What worked and what didn't. This video gave me some great ideas on spreads for 2024 and some things to do differently. I am reading the Atomic Habits and your setup for the 'Goals' spread is perfect! Setup systems not goals. I love how you are using the 2nd page as quarterly accomplishments. New subscriber here! 😁

It looks fantastic. I've set up a reading journal as well for the first time. The nice thing about stamps is there is no wrong way to use them. I just have a cheap set from Michael's and they work just fine. I'm not into artsy stuff as it's too much work. I thought about going into more details with each book but I'm too lazy. I just put the cover on the month page and leave it at that. I figure I wrote book reports in school. I don't need to do it in real life. LOL. I do like the idea of the first line of the book though.
