  Dang!! I didn’t know hunting deer is now at night. Previous update had deers popping in at random near you. I’m relatively new to the game. Barely made it through the third horde night and while I have tons of water now, food is scarce and hunting chickens and rabbits don’t give you that much. Also I had no idea howlers pop in at random once you reach a certain game stage. In my case I started building A LOT for a test horde base. Suddenly no zombies appeared for a good while. I thought something was wrong. And then a chick zombie dressed in white appeared. I thought let’s pull her in to the new base to test. She started coming and then I noticed 3 more zombies coming, and then I noticed 10 more coming and suddenly they were breaking my test base to I ran to my old one near by and I was like WTH IS GOING ON???? So I got like 50 zombies out of nowhere pushing for my old base and I was like “but blood moon is tomorrow what happened?” …. Died once trying to protect my base pillars. Come to find out the white zombie brides were HOWLERS….. but after THE SECOND TIME THEY APPEARED BY MY BASE. Now I got ptsd from that crap and been over thinking it too much. But I like discovering the game alone. It’s part of the fun. Like I know you can go into dev mode to test bases before you build them in the actual game. Me? I like to try WHILE I play. It makes things more fun and keeps you on the edge. This game has a steep learning curve with all it has but so far 3 hordenights have been manageable. Just have to reinforce my pillars so my base doesn’t crumble.

  I prefer to seek out the desert and burn biomes, much more game at night in those areas.

  We should be able to carve up zombies for rotten flesh, fat, and bones still. Super stupid that we can carve animals but not zeds...

  i saw a vid, (TBF GAMING), he had a good idea, u know those pretty comon metal bridges? it has a 4 way up for the zombies to walk up, so he built a path on the side towards the water on top of it, set up a fighting position, and he got a top tier horde base with minimal resources, pretty sturdy also,fucking genius.

  Do the resource nodes go down to bedrock? And do they branch out to the sides as you dig down or do they tend to stay within a certain circle of blocks?

  @@Spartan85 I figured as much, I got so many friends on pc I want the cross play to come over lol, I’ve convinced 4-5 ps and Xbox guys to buy the game just waiting to be able to play with my pc buddies, but I was in the stream last night was enjoying it, I’m sitting on day 36 rn we’re getting places, and enjoying the hell out of it, I’ve only experienced lag post day 28 horde nights. Love the videos man cheers 🍻

  Spartan man why do zombies spawn inside my walls. I have a land claim block down bags down tried using multiple land blocks dug up all the dirt replaced with wood and they still spawn inside the base.

  @@Spartan85 no it only happens horde night and yes me and my friend both have bags down. The walls are within the claim boundaries as well. I set the max radius for land claim and bags as well in setting when I made the server

  From what I understand, there’s a separate release on consoles for 1.0. So there’ll be the legacy version that’s not receiving updates, and then the 1.0 version which is a separate purchase.

  Biggest tip: Dint load your forges with more than 30 k materials. It will delete your base 😢 it happened to me and my friend on day 50, we logged in and had a single slice of base left

  I played this game years ago on console before quests were ever added. Recently started playing again with my buddy and my brother and I'm absolutely loving it. There's a few great tips in this video that will be a big help. I hadn't noticed the ability to lock some inventory slots so that will be really nice to utilize from here on. I can't tell you how many times I accidentally stored my ammo or food before going out 😂

  @@kingelvis19 Yes sir, they did a full re release. The fun pimps took over full development and made lots changes and fixes. In my opinion the game is in the best state it's ever been in and that seems to be the consensus. You will unfortunately have to purchase the game again and it might be PS5/XSX/XSS only for console. They did give previous owners a 25% discount so that's a big plus and considering the work they've done the price is justified.

  Love the video Spartan! Another simple tip is to build a zombie dropper on your hoard base to give you more time to react and recover, especially if you are new to the game. Upside down wedge 60 tips work wonders with a 13 block high drop.

  Also, a good tip for early game is take a point for animal tracking. I put my first point there and while i had other difficulties, meat and leather were not among them.

  Great tips. Thanks! Please do a short clip showing on xbox how to move things like a dew collector. I put down a land claim and still cant get it to let me move stuff. Also how do we get open signs and bear statues etc?
